Wild Card weekend is in the books and what a weekend it was!!! 3 out of the 4 games was decided by 3 points or less with the 6th seeded San Diego Chargers beating the 3rd seeded Bengals 27-10 being the only game was decided by single digits. In the NFC we seen the 3rd seeded Eagles lost to the 6th seeded Saints 26-24 when the Saints kicked a FG as time expired to win the game. In the other game we seen the 5th seeded 49ers travel to Green Bay and win 23-20 in a really cold game. Meanwhile, in the other game in the AFC we saw the 2nd biggest comeback in playoff history when the 4th seeded Colts game back from a 38-10 deficit to beat the 5th seeded Chiefs 45-44. Let’s see if things will be as exciting as they were this past weekend. Let’s Get Started!!!!!!!!!!

new-orleans-saints-logoseattle-seahawks-logoThis is the 1st game of the Divisional Playoff round and rematch from earlier in the season when the 6th seeded New Orleans Saints visit the top seeded Seattle Seahawks and the infamous 12th Man. The Saints are coming off a game they barely squeaked by and in the process they turned the ball over with Drew Brees throwing a couple of picks. If they think they can beat the Seahawks turning the ball over, that will not happen. They lost to the Seahawks about 5 weeks ago 34-7!!!! The Seahawks are probably the favorites to come out of the NFC to go to the Super Bowl. They’re also adding Percy Harvin to an already really good offense and this team just doesn’t lose at home that often. Actually they’ve only lost once since Russell Wilson have become the starter and I think this will be more competitive than the first game but the Seahawks will win and host the NFC Championship game next week.

Seahawks Win 34-21

Colts_LogoNew_England_Patriots_HelmetThis is the 2nd game on Saturday night of the Divisional Playoff round and a battle between 2 teams that’s very familiar with each other over the years. The Indianapolis Colts visit their longtime nemesis the New England Patriots. The Colts are very familiar the New England Patriots but this team isn’t led by Peyton Manning, but Andrew Luck. The Colts are coming off one of the most impressive comebacks ever last week when they came back from a 28 point deficit to beat the Chiefs 45-44. The Patriots had a 1st round bye and they had a surprisingly great season despite all the setbacks that included the incident with Aaron Hernandez, the injuries of Gronk and now with LB Brandon Spikes being out now. Despite all those issues and many other injuries the Patriots continued to win. In this game the Colts can’t make mistakes nor can they let the Patriots score at will with the hopes of making a big comeback like they did last week. If the Colts can establish a running game they could have a chance but in the end the Patriots offense will prove too much and they’ll win this game.

Patriots Win 35-24

San-Francisco-49ers-PicksCarolina PanthersThis will be the 1st game Sunday afternoon in the Divisional round of the Playoffs when the San Francisco 49ers visits the Carolina Panthers. The 49ers are coming off a win in frigid Green bay last week 23-20 and this week Carolina will be a lot warmer conditions. San Francisco seems to be clicking on all cylinders with most of their key components are seem to be healthier than they were when they met back in Week 10 when the Panthers won 10-9 in San Francisco, but Kaepernick didn’t have Michael Crabtree that game. The Panthers had a 1st round bye last week and they definitely can use it because star WR Steve Smith has been battling a knee injury that kept him out of the last regular season game. The Panthers have had a great season and was led by a tough defense that has pretty much stopped everyone. How will Cam Newton play in his playoff debut? Will Steve Smith be able to play? I wanna pick the Panthers to win but I have this feeling the Niners will pull it off in the last minute.

49ers Win 20-17

san-diego-chargers-logo-designLast and definitely not least, we have the final game of the Divisional round of the Playoffs when the San Diego Chargers visit the Denver Broncos. The Chargers barely got into the playoffs and last week they went to Cincinnati and beat them handily. With their win last week that push their winning streak to 5 games and during that span they’ve played some of the best football in the league. The tandem of Ryan Matthews and Ronnie Brown had great games running last week, but there are questions about Matthews for this week. The Denver Broncos are the top seed in the AFC and they’re coming off a bye week. They’ve been the favorites to advance to the Super Bowl back before the season started in the AFC but they’ve had their share of issues when it comes to San Diego. They’ve played each other twice with the Broncos winning the first game in Week 10 in San Diego 28-20 and losing at home 27-20 about a month ago. This will be another close game and I think the Broncos will find a way to win this one.

Broncos Win 31-21
