Daddy’s Hangout Presents WWE Monday Night Raw Review 2/3/2014

Well Football season is over and now I can go ahead and start doing some WWE Monday Night Raw reviews. We are officially on the Road to WrestleMania and let’s get into the Good, the Bad and the UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!

Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton: This was an outstanding main event and these guys put out a great effort. Very physical contest and it was great to see Bryan get the win over Orton. How things have been going in the WWE I’m hoping that they either put the title on Bryan @ Mania or possibly Extreme Rules, but give him his WrestleMania moment.

The Shield vs. Big E. Langston, Kofi Kingston & Rey Mysterio: This was a very good 6-man match and all the guys looked great. Still liking the tension between Ambrose and Reigns that will eventually lead to the break-up of the Shield. Maybe it’s me, but I’m not ready for them to breakup and believe they could have a great run as faces seeing they’re paired against the Wyatts. I really don’t like Langston being the one getting pinned though.

Rhodes Brothers vs. New Age Outlaws: Not so much the match, but I like them keeping the belts to Mania if that means that the Usos win the titles from them.

Opening Segment: It creates more intriguing scenarios with the Authority thinking that Orton could be replaced as the face of the company. Kinda thought it was a mockery when HHH was leading the fans with the YES! chants.

Batista and Alberto Del Rio: They finally are starting to get to the issues these 2 have with each other seeing they’ve had a little feud on Twitter before Batista showed back up.

Christian vs. Jack Swagger: This match was pretty good while it lasted. This just created more tension between Zeb & Swagger which could result in a feud between Swagger and Cesaro.

The Wyatts vs. Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth & Xavier Woods: Not because of the match, but how they’re doing Ziggler. Dolph deserves to be in a better position and to top it all off, he’s the one who got pinned.

Titus O’Neil vs. Zack Ryder: I like Titus and think he’s a cool guy, but in the ring he’s terrible to me.

Sheamus vs. Curtis Axel: I like Sheamus and maybe this was to get some ring rust off but him facing Axel at this stage because Axel has jobbed to everyone isn’t good for me.

The Dance Off: They’re played out and please make them go away.

Naomi vs. Aksana: Have you seen Naomi’s eye after Aksana dropped her knee on her eye carelessly. Naomi is very athletic but she need to learn the basics before challenging for the Divas title.

Overall Rating: 6/10- Raw had it’s moment here and there, but with the great main event I bumped it up a point. The main event was phenomenal and the 6 man with the Shield was great also. What did you think of this past Raw? Let me know!!!!!
