With this basically being a new year we all try to focus on things we’ve done the previous year and improve on them the coming year. We all have had New Year’s Resolutions and by now, like me we set our goals to where we have went back on our resolutions. In addition to blogging, I actually work full-time also and the worse part about that is that I work on night shift and have been doing it for the better part of 17 years. It’s something I decided to do after school because I was staying up all night anyways, so why not make some money while I was up? When it was time for me to have kids I still stayed on night shift because I could always go to their field trips, go read to the class and just be there whenever they needed me at the school. Now that I’m much older, getting closer to my 40s to be exact I need to focus on my health more because I want to be here when I have grandkids in the future. One of the things that I have started to do is paying more attention to what I eat. With the help of a great company like Sodexo that promote quality of life by combining the diversity of our people to generate performance and well-being. There are 6 aspects of Quality of Life that Sodexo focuses on uniquely: Social Interaction, Ease & Efficiency, Physical Environment, Personal Growth, Recognition and Health & Well-Being.

Now that I’m focusing on my health, I’d definitely try to get help focusing on my Health & Well-Being. With them specializing in Health & Well-Being they’re promoting a healthy lifestyle through nutritious meals, a well-balanced diet and exercise. This can include restaurant vouchers and healthy food options, as well on-site exercise facilities or gym memberships. Working at night it’s very hard to maintain a well-balanced diet, trying to find time to exercise and eating a nutritious meal. As of a couple of weeks ago there’s a new gym that’s less than 5 minutes from my house and in March I’m going to join and start working out in the mornings when I get off work.
