When it comes to luxury cars, there are not many superior to the 2015 Lexus GX460. This is a car that not only performs well on the road; it looks good doing it too. Lexus has always been an industry standard in how luxury and performance go hand-in-hand but they have really outdone themselves with the Lexus GX460. If you read any car review, you will see that this car is a four-wheel drive, six-speed automatic that really knows how to get you from point A to point B in style.
It is a V8 liter engine with around 301 horsepower and 329 pound-feet of torque. This Lexus also happens to come with an adaptive variable suspension, parking sensors, a built-in navigation system, leather upholstery, heated wood-trimmed steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and even heated second-row seats. As you can see, this is a car that knows how to make the driver feel special and can really impress anyone in view and exceed all expectations you have for it. This car review also has to mention how great the car handles via its controls. There is intuitive placement in this vehicle due to its 60/40 split-folding rear seats and power-folding third-row seats that help not only add to convenience for suburban affairs but also to provide that comfort feeling you have come to know and love.
One note to really take away from this Lexus is that its acceleration is top-notch. You will not normally find this type of acceleration and this type of speed in a luxury vehicle, but usually more in muscle cars. The Lexus GX460 does this real well and its V8 engine functions real well around the city. Not only that, but even off-road you can take this vehicle where you need to go. You do not normally see a luxury vehicle off-road, but this car handles it and does it in style. There is an option in this car called Crawl Control that allows you to climb terrain such a steep slopes and roadways that are rugged without even having to touch the throttle or brakes.
You can focus purely on the steering and let the car get through this type of road for you. At the end of the day, this is a car with class and for the driver that needs the utmost in convenience. There are not many cars this year that can do with this car can do and it is certainly a treat for any driver.
The 2015 Lexus GX460 is perfect for my family, my kids were hollering, can we keep it? Having a family of 5 that consists of 2 tall teenagers, the 3rd row seating was perfect because we need all the room we can get and I’m tall also. For me, I loved every bit of the ride because it was so smooth and for an SUV, the gas mileage was great so we could just go out of town without worrying about spending too much money on gas. Having teenagers, it’s also a plus to have several outlets for them to charge their iPods, phones and whatever electronic device they have with them. Being a music fan, I had to turn up the sounds just to hear how it sounds and man the system was really nice also and I also love the fact that I could sync music from my phone in the process. All in all, this vehicle is really nice and one that I am looking into purchasing in the future so I wouldn’t have to rent an SUV to go on family trips.
