Emory Point, a popular shopping and dining destination located in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood, will offer the perfect family outing with its new monthly series, Giggles. Kicking off Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in The Park next to The General Muir, Giggles will offer complimentary, kid-friendly activities including arts and crafts, face painting, balloon art, live entertainment, giveaways and more.
“Our community has always been a natural gathering place for families and children in the Druid Hills, Virginia Highlands and Decatur neighborhoods,” said Megan Jurkovic, Senior Property Manager at Emory Point. “Giggles will be an exciting spring and summer attraction at Emory Point, offering free family fun and classic entertainment.”
Giggles will be held on the first Saturday of each month through September, with the exception of Saturday, July 11. Each event is designed with the little ones in mind and is sure to send everyone home with a smile. Seasonal themes for Giggles are as follows:
- Saturday, May 2: Sing Song Saturday
- Saturday, June 6: Underwater Whimsy
- Saturday, July 11: Jungle Jam July
- Saturday, Aug. 1: Little Luau
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Monster Mayhem
Families are invited to round out the day with lunch from Emory Point’s dynamic mix of award-winning and casual restaurant concepts including Tin Lizzy’s, BurgerFi, Chow Mei Mei, Fresh to Order, Marlow’s Tavern, Paradise Biryani Pointe, The General Muir, Tin Lizzy’s and Which Which.
