Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from Cincinnati, OH. Last week, Raw was really good with a great crowd to go along with everything. This is the go-home show before the Payback PPV so hopefully we’ll get more matches announced for the PPV. Let’s Get Started!!!

Good

Opening Segment: We saw the return of Triple H and he kicked off Raw with a promo before calling out Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins complained to Triple H about Kane trying to cost him the title which brought out Kane and that continued friction between Rollins & Kane. Triple H made matches with all 4 guys in the main event of the PPV for that night. Pretty good segment with the teasing of Rollins & Kane, then Triple H making the match of J&J Security against the hometown Dean Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose vs. J&J Security: Ambrose is so over it’s not even funny. The crowd was extra pumped for him because he’s from Cincinnati, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him become the next WWE champion.

King Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler: Pretty good match, which Ziggler had the match won until Sheamus got involved causing Ziggler the match. Afterwards, Sheamus came into the ring and assaulted Ziggler, but Dolph fought back until Sheamus hit him with the Brogue Kick.

John Cena vs. Neville: Cena came out and cut a lengthy promo about bringing value to the U.S. title and said he will not quit in his match against Rusev. The match between Neville & Cena was phenomenal and Neville should be a huge star in the next year at the rate he’s going. Let’s give Cena some props because he’s stepped up big time especially with his matches with Sami Zayn and now Neville. Neville was close to winning the title until Rusev attacked him and laid out Cena to get more heat.

Big E vs. Cesaro: This wasn’t a great match, but I like the feud between these two teams and looking forward to their 2 out of 3 falls match @ the Payback PPV.

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton: This was a good match with these two as usual, but I’m hoping this is the last time they face each other for a while because they have faced each other too much now. The mystery with Kane is something that’s intriguing with the PPV coming Sunday. Orton, Reigns & Ambrose had Rollins cornered in the ring and Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on him while Kane watched from the outside holding a chair. Ambrose picked up Rollins to let Reigns hit him with the spear and then Reigns & Ambrose picked him up to let Orton hit the RKO on Rollins all while Kane watched. Afterwards, Reigns hit the Spear on Orton and Ambrose hit the Dirty Deeds on Reigns to stand tall as Raw went off the air as the crowd goes crazy.

Bad

Erick Rowan vs. Fandango: The match was short & sweet, but seeing Rowan back with Harper is great because they didn’t have any direction as singles competitors even though Harper was a former IC champ.

Kane vs. Roman Reigns: It wasn’t awful, but it just didn’t do anything for me.

Tamina Snuka vs. Brie Bella: Really wasn’t feeling this match either, but I still think this feud between the Bellas & Naomi/Tamina could be good. I still don’t know what Brie Monde is!!

Curtis Axel vs. Macho Mandow: They fought for like a minute until they were interrupted by the Ascension. They attacked Mandow and Axel helped him out and now it seems like they’re a team now.

Daniel Bryan Relinquishing the IC title: It was like a year ago that he had to be stripped of the WWE title and now he’s doing the same with the IC championship. This guy is one of, if not the best in-ring talent of this generation and we don’t know if he’ll be able to wrestle again. You could tell he was getting emotional about the situation and hopefully he gets 100% and at least have a normal life.

Bray Wyatt/Ryback: Still not feeling this feud at the moment, but that could change. I just don’t understand how Wyatt goes from feuding with the Undertaker to Ryback, no disrespect to the Big Guy, but he should be in the main event picture.

Overall Rating: 5.5/10- This was a decent go-home show from the WWE. The opening segment was pretty hot with the return of Triple H along with the issues between Kane and Seth Rollins. The hometown crowd was crazy for Dean Ambrose the entire night and he had a great night also. The feud between Sheamus/Ziggler is still pretty hot and there match on Sunday should be another good one. The match of the night was definitely between John Cena & Neville, props to Cena for bringing relevance to the U.S. title and delivering great matches against Neville and Sami Zayn last week. The tag division is being built up pretty nice right now with New Day, Cesaro/Kidd, Ascension, Sandow/Axel, Lucha Dragons, Primetime Players, the reuniting Rowan/Harper and the Usos are still out. The main event was pretty good and the action afterwards was really good.

Top 5 Happenings from Raw:
1) John Cena vs. Neville
2) Dean Ambrose
3) Daniel Bryan Forfeiting the IC title
4) The Tag Division
5) Return of Triple H
