Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw on this Memorial Day, first off the WWE always have great video packages no matter the holiday is and this was no different as the played the amazing speech from President Reagan from 1982. This week Monday Night Raw hailed from Long Island, NY and they stated with a moment of silence to honor those brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for us to have freedom. This is the go-home Monday Night Raw with the Elimination Chamber PPV taking place this Sunday and hopefully it’ll be as great as Monday Night Raw from last week.

Good

Opening Segment: The show started off with the Authority and they called out Dean Ambrose to come sign the contract. After Ambrose came out, he and Rollins cut promos back & forth on each other until Ambrose made his way down to the ring. The music of Roman Reigns hit and he came down to stand by Ambrose, but Stephanie made a tag match with Ambrose & Reigns taking on Kane & Rollins.

Kane & Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose: The match started slow, but it eventually picked up and ended up being a really good match.

Video Package about Kevin Owens: He should be a big time player on the main roster, great video also.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus: These 2 always have really good matches and this one was no different. Sheamus won the match because of the distraction from Rusev and after the match; Rusev attacked Ziggler while Lana watched.

John Cena vs. Zack Ryder: Cena cut a lengthy promo about the WWE Universe and Kevin Owens before issuing his challenge, which was answered by the cast of Entourage for Zack Ryder. This was a pretty good match and I think the WWE dropped the ball with Ryder seeing how popular he made himself. After the match, Cena was attacked by Kevin Owens who came through the crowd.

Bad

R-Truth vs. Rusev: I understand Rusev is angry, but Truth is in the Elimination Chamber match for the IC title and he just squashed Truth.

Ryback vs. King Barrett: Match was too short!!

Neville vs. Stardust: I really hate what they have done with Cody now.

Tamina vs. Paige: I’m just not feeling Tamina at all.

New Day vs. Entire Tag Division: I didn’t understand the concept @ all for this match.

Final Segment: I thought the final segment was pretty stupid even though I like seeing the return of Dean Ambrose with the police van.

Overall Rating: 4.5/10- This wasn’t a great go-home Monday Night Raw before the Elimination Chamber PPV. Still loving they’re giving Dean Ambrose a shot in the main event because he belongs there. It’s crazy Reigns doesn’t have a match at the Elimination Chamber PPV nor have we heard from Randy Orton since the Payback PPV. There were 3 good matches between Cena/Ryder, Sheamus/Ziggler and the opening tag match.

Top 5 Happenings on Raw:
1) Kevin Owens from the video package to attacking Cena
2) Dean Ambrose
3) John Cena vs. Zack Ryder
4) Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus
5) The Future(Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, Owens, Neville, Zayn, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor)
