Finally, summer has arrived and usually that means more time spent outside cooking out than cooking on the inside. My son reminded me that I’ve basically cooked everything on the grill except his favorite food, and that’s ribs. Normally when I go to Walmart to get some ribs, I typically get Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce to go with them, but this time I spotted the Farmland® St. Louis Style Pork Spareribs that was already seasoned with the Southwest Style Peppercorn flavoring. In all honesty, I’ve never tried them before, but they looked so tempting I decided to pick up a couple of packs of them.

If you head over to the meat section of Walmart, you’ll find them with so much other irresistible food around them. The Farmland® Southwest Peppercorn St. Louis Ribs are around $3.86/lb., which isn’t bad because they come with a lot of meat from the bones.

As you can see, these are some beautiful ribs and the smell out of the package is something that makes you want them much more. While firing up the grill I usually keep them out for a few minutes before throwing them onto the grill.

Whenever I throw Spareribs on the grill, they usually take anywhere between an hour and a half to almost two hours to cook. During that time, I check on the occasionally to turn them over to get both sides looking great and not burn them too much.

After finished cooking, I usually let them sit around 10-15 minutes before I cut them up. These ribs are so tender; they literally fall from the bone, and my son said they taste better than the ones from the restaurants. If my son gives them that kind of praise, then it means something because he’s like the ribs and wing’s experts.
