Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they’re coming from my hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. First of all, it has been a while since I’ve done a review of Monday Night Raw because of a combination of vacation and busy schedule. There has been a lot going on since the last time I’ve done a review, but I have been keeping up and let’s see how things fared in Hotlanta.

Good

Paul Heyman Promo with Brock Lesnar: It’s always special to feature a promo from Heyman and he ripped it as always. I really wish I could’ve been there to see it live and also to see Lesnar also. Heyman was cut off by Rollins as he brought Kane out with him. After going back and forth, Heyman says if Rollins do anything sneaky Suplex City will come to Atlanta GA tonight.

Ryback & Randy Orton vs. Sheamus & Big Show: This was a pretty good tag match with all 4 men working their butts off. Ryback has really stepped his game up ever since winning the IC championship. It was cool having the Miz interfere since he, Big Show and Ryback have a match with each other this Sunday.

Divas Segment: The segment started with the Bellas and Alicia Fox in the ring with Nikki talking about how dominated they have been and they run the WWE, which brought out Stephanie. She brought out Paige and said there will be a Divas Revolution; she brought out Becky Lynch and Charlotte to join Paige. That brought out Naomi and Tamina, who said they have unfinished business with the Bellas and Paige. Stephanie then brought out Sasha Banks which turned this segment into a brawl. The crowd was chanting, “This Is Awesome”!! In the end, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch locked in their submission holds onto the Bellas and Alicia Fox. Great segment!!

Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Rusev: This match came about when John Cena came out for his U.S. Open Challenge that was answered by Rusev. Afterwards, Owens came out to answer also, and then Cesaro came out also. It turned into a great triple threat match with the winner facing Cena for the title. This match was freakin’ awesome and when will the WWE pull the trigger and push the hell out of Cesaro.

Rusev vs. John Cena: I don’t know how Rusev had the energy to face Cena, but he was hanging in there until Owens came down and attacked both men. Owens told Cena that no one is taking the title from Cena but him.

Contract Signing: Pretty good way to finish Raw, I’m just torn on what direction will the WWE go this Sunday. Rollins has no allies going into the Battleground PPV with J&J Security and Kane being out now.

Bad

New Day vs. PrimeTime Players & Mark Henry: Hold up, so Mark Henry is a face again? Not a bad match, just don’t understand the move.

R-Truth vs. King Barrett: How many times have these two faced each other? Barrett deserves better!!

Stardust vs. Neville: I would love to see Stardust to pick up the win or face someone else to get the win. Nice reception from the fans and what in the hell are they doing with Neville.

Overall Rating: 7/10: Pretty good go-home show and I’m ready for the Battleground PPV. Monday Night Raw had some really good moments like NXT Divas debuting and starting a Divas revolution, the triple threat match to face Cena between Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Rusev and the opening tag match was pretty good also.

Top 5 Happenings on Raw:
1) Debut of NXT Divas
2) Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens vs. Rusev
3) Brock Lesnar
4) Ryback & Randy Orton vs. Big Show & Sheamus
5) Contract Signing
