Being someone who works all the time, I mean holding down a full-time job while blogging, father of 3 and being always involved with everything with my kids take a toll after a while. On the weekends, usually we’re either spending time with family or friends, but now it’s football season I’m always at home. When football is on, I’m constantly cooking some good food and of course, having some drinks to go along with it. Since I’m over a couple of years from hitting my 40s, I’ve been trying to step my game up as of late and also getting better kicks. Recently, I’ve put away all the beer and starting trying some different brands of wine, when I got the chance to taste Andre Champagne for the first time. First of all, I tried it straight, and I must say that the Andre Brut was something I could see myself drinking. I was thinking that this was something new, but I discovered that Andre has been out since 1966, which shocked me because I thought I had tried everything possible. Originally made to offer sparkling wine at an affordable price, Andre has evolved to include nine different California Champagnes and Sparkling Wines. From Brut to Moscato, there’s something for everyone and every occasion, so you can kick it all the time.
Now that I’ve tried the Andre Brut, I had to go back to see if they offered other flavors of the Andre Champagne. Like I said above, there are nine flavors they offer, and they’re: Brut, Moscato, Extra Dry, Blush, Cold Duck, Pink Moscato, Spumante, Peach Moscato and Strawberry Moscato. While searching how to make some mixed drinks using the Andre Champagne, one of the first ones I came across was the Mimosa, which is a combination of crushed ice, Spumante Andre Champagne and orange juice to my mixer, shook it up and pour it in my glass then drank it. After trying it out, subsequently getting my wife hooked on it, I’m going to be looking for more mixes with Andre Champagne because it’s good, and it doesn’t cost a lot of money. #EpicWithAndre
Have you tried Andre Champagne? If so, how did you like it? What was your favorite flavor and would did you mix it with?
