This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Visit Gulf County for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Are you looking for somewhere your family can go to keep you busy your entire time there? Are you and your family the adventurous type that loves to have fun, while learning new things? How about heading the Gulf County, Florida to create more memories with your kids who will last a lifetime and be something your kids can talk about for a long time. You can check out the Gulf County Adventure Guide for some of their great listings and plan your next vacation. Most people love taking vacations in the spring or summer, but what about going on a trip during the fall, which is something my wife, and I have discussed, because usually, our falls are pretty boring. We have never taken a trip during autumn, but we usually head to some sporting events, fall festivals and maybe a family movie. Below are some of the adventures you can take with your family, I’m sure you would enjoy.

Turtle Treasure Hunt

On this hunt that’s led by adventure guide Jessica Swindell, you can check out quite a few things during this adventure, like viewing baby sea turtle nestings. You get to help her look for signs of nesting and participate in the process of protecting loggerhead turtles. During this trip, there she can only take four at a time, and I’m sure you’ll have fun while learning at the same time.

Kayak through the Dead Lakes

The Dead Lakes get their name from the Cypress and Tupelo trees that stand in the water. When the water is low, you can see the stumps rising out of the swamp. It’s like nothing you’ve seen before. If you go out early in the morning in April, the birds are all coming into nest and other critters are just showing up. The fog comes off the water. It’s very still, where you feel like you’re in the wilderness.

Wake up early to watch the Dolphin Parade

A family happened to get up really early in the morning and they witnessed a pod of dolphins really close to the shore that they could see them from the back of their deck. They were chasing a school of fish and they got to see them every day.

Adventure out to a different beach every day

All those are really fun, but personally I would want to go to a different beach every day and I know my family would also. There’s so much to do that your family would enjoy like horseback riding along the beach, bike riding in the afternoon, snorkeling, camping or just watching the sunset along the beach.
