Monday Night Raw Review 10/12/2015

Kane from Monday Night Raw

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw with it taking place in Chicago, which is one of the best wrestling cities in the country. Monday Night Raw last week was pretty good and step in the right direction as we head to the Hell in A Cell PPV in a couple of weeks. Let’s see how things went on this Monday Night Raw!!

Good
Opening Segment: This week’s Monday Night Raw started out with Dean Ambrose and he basically said he’s looking for a fight, which brought out Randy Orton. Orton talked about not trusting anyone or himself and that brought out the New Day. New Day came out and cut a pretty good promo and let me say that they’re the best thing going on right now. Kane came on the TitanTron and said the New Day have to face Orton & Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose & Randy Orton vs. New Day: The match started out pretty slow, but once Ambrose got the hot tag the crowd was definitely into it. In the end, Kingston pinned Orton when he shoved him into Ambrose and rolled him up.

Naomi vs. Nikki Bella: This was a pretty entertaining match between these two and I’m not mad that Nikki won the match because she has her rematch at the PPV in a couple of weeks for the Divas title. It seems like the WWE is playing up the Sasha chants and will eventually break up Team B.A.D.

Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena: This was another match in the U.S. Open Challenge from Cena and it was a really good match. Just imagine the crowd reaction if Ziggler would’ve won the title from Cena? Either way I’m hoping they find some way to give Dolph the push he deserves!! Also, with them mentioning Kurt Angle, could they be ready to make an offer to Angle once his contract is up in January?

Bad

Dudley Boyz vs. Ascension: This was basically a squash, but this could’ve been so much better if they built the Ascension up like they were in NXT.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman: Strowman just isn’t ready for singles competition now.

Neville & Cesaro vs. King Barrett & Sheamus: I’ll continue to put Cesaro & Neville here until they do something meaningful with them.

Rusev vs. Ryback: I don’t know what they’re doing or where they’re going with this storyline.

Kevin Owens vs. Kalisto: This match, if given time could probably be better than this.

Alicia Fox & Brie Bella vs. Charlotte & Paige: What was that?

Seth Rollins vs. “Demon” Kane: This is just another disappointing end to a not so good Monday Night Raw.

Overall Rating: 3.5/10- What a disappointing edition of Monday Night Raw and Chicago deserved better. My thoughts are that WWE wanted to put on a bad show there because of the C.M. Punk situation. Below are the only things I liked about Monday Night Raw!!

Top 5 Happening of Monday Night Raw:
1) John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler
2) Opening Segment with Ambrose, Orton & New Day
3) Naomi vs. Nikki Bella
4) Chicago Crowd
5) Randy Orton & Dean Ambrose vs. New Day
