Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler Monday night Raw

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from San Diego, one night after a pretty good Hell in a Cell PPV. Let’s see how things play out with the Hell in a Cell PPV behind us and we now head to the Survivor Series in Atlanta, which I’ll be attending on November 22nd, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker. Hopefully things will pick up from a decent Monday Night Raw last week.

Good

Opening Segment: We opened Monday Night Raw with the Authority running down the happenings of the PPV then introducing Seth Rollins. They said he’s run through everybody and have no one else to face, but the music of Roman Reigns hit and he makes his way down to the ring. He proclaims he’s going to be the next WWE Heavyweight Champion and Stephanie says his match is next because earlier Triple H said they’ll have a series of matches to crown a new #1 contender.

Kofi Kingston vs. Roman Reigns: This was a really good match between these two guys. In the end, Reigns hit Big E with the Superman Punch for trying to interfere, then he hit Kingston with a huge spear after Kofi tried to hit the Trouble in Paradise for the win.

Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro: This was a pretty decent match, but I understand them giving Owens the win, but they really need to start doing something with Cesaro because he has star written all over him if given the chance.

Team PCB vs. Team Bella: This wasn’t the best match, but this was newsworthy when Paige attacked Charlotte & Becky Lynch after they lost to Team Bella.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Neville: I assumed that this would be a squash by Del Rio, but I was wrong and it turned out to be a pretty good match. I understand having Del Rio advance to the Fatal Four Way match, but they need to find something for Neville.

Wyatt Family/Kane Segment: After Bray had another really good promo, Kane came down to the ring to confront him, but was attacked by them and taken off like they did the Undertaker the previous night. I’m guessing we’ll see the Brother of Destruction reunite in the very near future!!

Big E vs. Dolph Ziggler: This was another really good match to see who would advance to the Fatal Four-Way match to determine the new #1 contender for the WWE title. It was good to see Ziggler pick up the victory.

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Dolph Ziggler: This was a really good Fatal 4-Way match and the crowd was really into this match. Throughout the match, all four of those guys seem to have a chance to win the match. In the end, the crowd was really into seeing Owens & Reigns being the final two standing and Owens went for his Pop-up powerbomb, but Reigns countered with the Superman Punch and spear for the win. Great match!!!

Bad

Dudley Boyz & Ryback vs. Rusev, Sheamus & King Barrett: Is Rusev, Sheamus & Barrett a team now? Because they team together all the time now, but the match was alright I’m just confused why Bubba Ray got pinned for the second night in a row.

Overall Rating: 8/10- This was a really good edition of Monday Night Raw which was highlighted by four amazing matches for the right to be a part of the Fatal Four-Way to determine a new #1 contender for the WWE championship. We also saw Paige finally go full-fledged heel as she attacked Charlotte and Becky Lynch after their match against Team Bella, plus it seems like the Brothers of Destruction will reunite since the Wyatt Family carried Kane off like they did the Undertaker the previous night.

Top 5 Happenings from Monday Night Raw:
1) Roman Reigns is Ready to Challenge for Title
2) Fatal Four-Way to Determine #1 Contender
3) Paige Turning Full-Fledged Heel on Charlotte & Becky Lynch
4) Wyatt Family Carrying off Demon Kane
5) No Sasha Banks
