Monday Night Raw Review 11/2/2015

Monday Night Raw 11/2/2015

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hailed from Denver, Colorado. Last week was a really good edition of Monday Night Raw and hopefully things continue to stay that way because we’re less than three weeks away from the Survivor Series in Atlanta. Let’s see how things fared on Monday Night Raw!!

Good

Opening Segment: Monday Night Raw started off with Roman Reigns hitting the ring to cut a promo about being the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. That brought out Rollins, who cut a promo on Reigns and was about to hit the ring to fight, but the music of the Authority hit and out came Triple H & Stephanie. They announced the main event will be a traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 match with Reigns & Rollins leading their prospective teams.

Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler: This was a pretty good match-up between these two as expected and Owens picked up the win when Ziggler tried to attack Tyler Breeze, but walked into a pop-up powerbomb.

Cesaro vs. Miz: Cesaro need to be fighting for a championship ASAP!!

Wyatt Family Promo: Bray delivered a damn good promo talking about the Undertaker & Kane. I’m wondering when those guys will show and who’s going to be their partners.

Lucha Dragons vs. Barrett & Sheamus: What a really good match, also which was a huge upset with the Dragons beating Sheamus & Barrett. It seems like the Dragons are in line for a push, which is cool with me because I’ve been a fan of theirs since they were in NXT.

Paige vs. Sasha Banks vs. Brie Bella vs. Becky Lynch: This was to determine who the #1 contender for the Divas championship is and this was an awesome match. All of the ladies did their thing and the crowd was definitely behind them. Paige picked up the win by pinning Becky Lynch, but don’t be surprised that by the time WrestleMania rolls around that Sasha Banks will be the top lady in the division.

Team Rollins vs. Team Reigns: Very surprised to see the Survivor Series style main event on Monday Night Raw and it was a pleasant surprise seeing the return of the Usos, which makes the tag team division that much better. This was a very entertaining match and it got an ample amount of time and I’m looking forward to the Reigns/Rollins title match at the Survivor Series.

Bad

Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth: Anytime you see R-Truth in the ring you know whoever comes out will win.

Overall Rating: 8/10- This was a very good edition of Monday Night Raw as they continue towards the Survivor Series. My only gripe really is that they haven’t really built towards any matches other than the main event and the rumored match between the Brothers of Destruction and the Wyatt Family. As far as Monday Night Raw, there were four really good matches, which were the Ziggler/Owens match, Fatal Four Way match between the Divas, the main event and the Dragons match with Sheamus & Barrett. Cesaro had the crowd going on Monday and the promo from Bray Wyatt was really amazing.

Top 5 Happenings from Monday Night Raw:
1) Team Reigns vs. Team Rollins
2) Divas Fatal Four Way
3) Lucha Dragons Beating Barrett & Sheamus
4) Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler
5) Usos Return
