Monday Night Raw Review for 11/30/2015 from Pittsburgh

Monday Night Raw

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as it took place in Pittsburgh, PA. Coming into Monday Night, we really needed to get some direction with the TLC PPV taking place in less than a couple of weeks. Last week was another disappointing edition where Mick Foley says he’s about to be a former WWE fan. We already have the championship match set for the PPV, but hopefully we get more matches announced for the PPV. Let’s see how things shape up on this edition of Monday Night Raw!!

Opening Segment: We started off Monday Night Raw with New Day coming to the ring with confetti everywhere. The New Day clowned the city of Pittsburgh, the Steelers and eventually introduced Sheamus. Sheamus cut a promo about being the world champion and thanked Roman Reigns for not accepting the invitation to join the Authority. Sheamus began celebrating around the ring, but Reigns came out of nowhere to hit the Superman Punch and took the championship with him.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyler Breeze: This was a really good match between those as expected and I was surprised to see Dolph pick up the win. I don’t think we’ve seen the last between these two.

Dudley Boyz/Tommy Dreamer vs. Wyatt Family: The Dudley Boyz started with a promo about the Wyatts, and then they revealed tables with the names of the Wyatt Family members on each table. The Wyatt Family was about the attack the Dudleyz again, but they introduced a returning Tommy Dreamer. The match ended in a DQ when they just started fighting and in the end, Bubba Ray pushed Bray off the apron through a table.

Sasha Banks vs. Brie Bella: Anytime Sasha Banks is a part of Monday Night Raw, I’m happy.

Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns: Not for the match, but it seems like Sheamus has formed a new stable called the League of Nations with himself, Rusev, King Barrett and Alberto Del Rio.

Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch: This was a pretty competitive match between these two and could a Charlotte heel turn be coming sooner rather than later? I would love for that to happen and have three other divas to form like a lady Four Horsemen and feud with a babyface Sasha Banks around WrestleMania.

Rusev vs. Ryback: This wasn’t too much of a match with Rusev getting counted out when Lana was hit by the steel steps.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Goldust: This was basically a squash match.

Usos vs. Lucha Dragons: This match had potential, but at least we’ll get a triple threat match for the tag titles out of it.

New Day & League of Nations vs. Roman Reigns, Usos & Dean Ambrose: I just wasn’t a fan of the match, especially adding New Day to it, just didn’t see the need for it.

Overall Rating: 5/10- A little better than last week, but still a ways to go. This edition of Monday Night Raw was about building up some storylines as we head to the TLC PPV and I must say that I’m intrigued if we’re heading for a Charlotte heel turn. It was quite a surprise seeing Tommy Dreamer return to assist the Dudley Boyz in their feud with the Wyatt Family. It’s always nice to see Sasha Banks on Raw. I like seeing the new faction Sheamus put together called the League of Nations, maybe Barrett get a push out of it.
