Daddy’s Hangout 10th Week NFL Predictions

NFL

Welcome to the 10th week of the NFL season and the start of the 2nd half of the season. Last week my record was 3-2, which raised my overall record to 32-26. My winning percentage went up from 54.7% to 55.2% in the process. The big news coming out of the NFL has to be that Tony Romo is medically cleared to play. Now, it’s up to the coaches as to when he’ll play, but he could suit up as early as this weekend. This week I’ll be predicting a total of seven games with the hopes of improving my winning percentage. Let’s Get Started!!!

Cleveland Browns NFL LOGOBaltimore Ravens Black LogoThe Thursday night game features a pair of teams from the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens, who’s tied for first place with the Steelers. What can I say about the Browns that haven’t already been said? They’re the lone winless team in the league, but I must say they have a few parts in place for the future. Can they go to a rival’s home and get their first win? Last week, Baltimore played a really good game against the Steelers and they could be improving as they get healthier. For Baltimore, they must remain focused when it comes to these types of games, especially a division rival. With that said, I still think the Ravens walk away with the win.

Baltimore Win 30-20

Minnesota Vikings NFL logoWashingtonRedskins NFL logoWe have two teams that are trying to get back to their winning ways in the second half of the season. The Minnesota Vikings, losers of three games in a row head to Washington to face the Redskins, who haven’t won in three games. The big story in the NFL has to be the downfall of the Minnesota Vikings as they started 5-0. Ever since, they have lost three games in a row and they’re getting worse. The Washington Redskins are coming off their much-needed bye week and looking to hopefully make a playoff run. The front four on the Redskins will cause trouble for Bradford most of the day leading the Redskins to the win.

Washington Win 31-21

Atlanta Falcons NFL logoPhiladelphia Eagles logo NFLWe head to Philadelphia as the Eagles host the hottest offense in the league in the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have become one of the most talked about teams in the league on offense. Julio Jones has cemented his name as the best WR in the game and Matt Ryan is an MVP candidate. Atlanta is eyeing not only taking the division, but top seed of the NFC with a little help. On the other hand, Philadelphia started the season 3-0, but has since dropped four of their last five games. With this tough stretch for the Eagles, things could be worse before they get better. Since the Eagles have a depleted secondary, Ryan and Jones could have a field day and they should win.

Atlanta Win 34-23

Denver Broncos logo NFLNew Orleans Saints Logo NFLThis here should be a good game as we have the top ranked pass defense versus the #1 ranked pass offense. The Denver Broncos will travel to New Orleans to face the Saints in what now is a big time match-up. The Broncos started the season 4-0, but they’re 2-3 ever since and their defense is starting to get exposed. In more bad news for Denver, they could be without Aqib Talib could miss another game. On the other hand, New Orleans is headed in the opposite direction as they have won four of five since starting the season 0-3. Drew Brees has been great all year and with Talib being injured, he could have another big day. I’m going with the Saints at home!!

New Orleans Win 28-21

Dallas Cowboys Star Logo NFLPittsburgh Steelers NFL logo NFLWe head to Pittsburgh for a match-up of two of the more storied franchises in the league. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys as they try to get back to their winning ways. Dallas has won seven games in a row coming in this game and now it seems like Tony Romo is healthy again. With the way Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott has lead this team, they shouldn’t mess up their chemistry. Pittsburgh was one of my favorites to come out of the AFC this year, but they have lost three games in row. This will be the second week Big Ben will be back from his knee surgery, so he should play better. I think the Steelers will reverse their fortunes and beat Dallas at home.

Pittsburgh Win 32-23

Seattle Seahawks NFL logoNew England Patriots logoThis is the Sunday night game and also a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX as the Patriots host the Seahawks. Last week, Seattle finally played their best offensive game of the season as Russell Wilson looked like his old self. The defense will need to play better against this Patriots team and they’re hoping Kam Chancellor will be available. Can Seattle head to New England and upset the Patriots? The Patriots are coming off their bye week and it seems like they have a little controversy on their side. New President-Elect Donald Trump read a letter sent to him by Coach Belichick and some of the players were upset about it. Can this become a distraction? I don’t think so as I think the Patriots will take care of business against Seattle.

New England Win 27-17

Cincinnati Bengals NFL helmet logoNew York Giants Logo NFLWe have the Monday night game as the Cincinnati Bengals take on the New York Giants. Despite having an awful season, Cincinnati is still right in the thick of things in the AFC North. They’re tied in the loss column with the Ravens and Steelers, but they have a tie on their record. Will they return to the same team that was one of the favorites last year before Andy Dalton got hurt? The Giants are on a roll as they have won three games in a row as they still eye the division. With their next two games being against the Bears and Browns, this could be a trap game for them. In the end, I think this will be a physical game and New York will walk away victorious.

New York Win 26-17
