This post was brought to you by RaceTrac, I received compensation to write about this post but all opinions expressed are my own.
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In the mornings, we tend to eat bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, grits and of course, orange juice. For years, eating the same thing came somewhat repetitive. Since I work on the night shift, when I get off in the mornings, I don’t want regular breakfast food. Unfortunately, there aren’t many places to have a variety of foods to choose from to satisfy your appetite.
One place I love to go for breakfast is RaceTrac, which is about 4 minutes from my job. While you can get your traditional breakfast from RaceTrac, they too have so many other options to choose from. For me, I’d rather have one of their delicious wraps or their whole and cut fruit also. Here are more treats to choose from below:
From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., you can get a Nathan’s Famous 100 percent all-beef hot dogs. They have other great foods on the roller grill like taquitos, chicken roller bites and tamales. Periodically, they have fun limited time offers like bacon cheddar hot dogs or pork egg roll.
Everyone loves coffee in the mornings; as a matter of fact it’s great anytime of the day. RaceTrac offers up to six blends of fresh brewed coffee that includes Hazelnut, Regular, Decaf, Dark Roasted and Columbian. When getting coffee from RaceTrac I always like to mix Hazelnut and Columbian with French Vanilla creamer and a dash of whipped cream. Like me, you can put together your own creation.
Whether it’s hot or cold, you can never go wrong with frozen treats. Swirl World is RaceTrac’s line of frozen treats, which include frozen yogurt, ice cream and Italian ice, which you can combine your favorite flavors. The toppings bar offers up to 41 toppings to help customize your frozen treat the way you like it. You have a choice to put your frozen treats in a cup, sugar cone or waffle cone.
If you’re looking for fresh, high-quality items, including whole and cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps and salads that are delivered fresh to its stores every day. Like I mentioned earlier, they have some of the best wraps I’ve ever had, especially the BBQ Chicken, trust me.
Grab & Go
This varies depending on the location, which is breakfast sandwiches made in house daily. RaceTrac offer four sandwiches like the ham, egg and cheese croissant, sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, chicken biscuits and the sausage biscuit. The sandwiches are made with hand-selected, high-quality ingredients including real buttermilk biscuits, flaky croissants, Jimmy Dean sausage and Tyson chicken breasts. If you’re looking for a healthier option, o worries because RaceTrac got you covered. Starting in January, the Omelet Wrap stuffed with eggs, hams, sautéed peppers and cheese.
Made to Order
There are a select number of RaceTrac locations that offer the made-to-order experience. You can get pizza, sandwiches or beverages made the way you like it. For instance, you can get a 7-inch pizza made with pepperoni, bacon, black olives or however you like or just grab a piece to go. Are you a fan of milkshakes? RaceTrac offers vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, salted caramel truffle, cookies & crème and frozen lemonade.
They also offer smoothies made with Dannon yogurt that you could top with an assortment of fruit. If you thought that was enough, RaceTrac also have Espresso-based beverages. They have lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, espresso shots and hot chocolate.
So what gets you going in the mornings? Do you eat breakfast? Either way, head to RaceTrac and pick up something for breakfast because they’ll have what you need.
