Daddy’s Hangout 2017 NCAA Final Four Preview

2017 Final Four PreviewWho had South Carolina making the Final Four in their brackets? Even as a #1 seed, many people didn’t have Gonzaga making the Final Four. For the most part, many people including myself had North Carolina making it. I’ve seen many people who thought Oregon had a shot, but Kansas was the pick for the most part in the Midwest Region. In my first bracket my Final Four picks were Duke, Arizona, Kansas and North Carolina. For my Sweet 16 preview, my Final Four picks were Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina and Kansas. With that said, this has been an amazing tournament with so many great moments. We have witnessed some great basketball, buzzer beaters and so many emotions involved in the games. It all has led to the moment where we’ll see South Carolina take on Gonzaga and North Carolina meet Oregon. Let’s see how things will play out!

2017 Final Four Preview- Gonzaga2017 Final Four Preview- South CarolinaBefore I get started, let me apologize to Gonzaga for underestimating them all season. They went 36-1 and I admit that I haven’t watched too many of their games. After watching their games in the tournament they are just as good as any team in the country. On the other hand, South Carolina has looked great doing their run through the tournament. South Carolina has been a great defensive team throughout the season, but since the SEC isn’t a strong basketball conference it went unnoticed. Sindarius Thornwell is one of the best players in the country and the guards of Gonzaga will have a tough time guarding him. With Gonzaga, they’re so fundamentally sound and they also play great defense, which is why they only loss one game. This game will be another really good game, but I’m taking Gonzaga to advance to the championship game.

2017 Final Four Preview- North Carolina2017 Final Four Preview- OregonThe final game of the evening will have the top seed from the South, North Carolina battling Oregon, who’s the 3rd seed from the Midwest. Oregon is another team that I haven’t got the chance to watch much because their on the west coast. After watching them throughout the tournament, I have been amazed by their entire team not just Dillon Brooks. In the Midwest Region title game, Oregon pretty much handled the top seed Kansas Jayhawks. On the other hand, North Carolina advanced with an amazing shot by Luke Maye, who received praise from Duke great, Christian Laettner. One of the many things that make the Tar Heels great is the depth of their team. Unlike any other team in the tournament, they play about 10 guys throughout the game. Despite losing a pair of All-American players from last year’s team, they’re back in the Final Four and think they’ll advance.
