I’ll be the first to admit one thing, I love to eat and I’m crazy about Mexican food. One of my favorite places to eat has always been Cabo’s. Sometimes you just want to stay home and cook your own food. My family loves tacos so much, we’re usually eating them at least 3 times a month. Since my kids love them and their finals are this week, we decided why not make some tacos. Below is how I make them, want kind of stuff goes with them and what I like on my tacos.
Old El Paso
There are many kinds of taco kits they sell in the stores and trust me, I’ve tried them all. My family has always loved Old El Paso as our go-to brand. My kids love the soft tacos and I’m a huge fan of the Nacho Cheese shells. Certain packages come with the kit that includes the seasoning for the meat and sauce for the tacos. For the hard-shell tacos, just put them in the oven for about 4 minutes at 350 degrees.
Delimex Chicken & Cheese Taquitos
These little chicken and cheese rolls are so delicious. They are the perfect compliment to go with the tacos and sometimes I’ll buy them for the kids can eat them by themselves.
T-Fal Manuel Chopper
This comes in handy as I use to have to pull the lettuce apart as god as I can. With the manual chopper, this makes that job much easier and the lettuce is chopped down to smaller pieces. For this, all you have to do is peel some lettuce and insert it inside the chopper. After closely the lid by turning it, all you have to do is pull up on the handle and you’re done. T-Fal put out some nice items that I use in the kitchen like the pizza pan and cutter I got the chance to use.
After cooking your ground beef and everything is done, it’s time to go down. For me, I love to put sour cream, grated cheese, lettuce and mild sauce taco sauce. Are you a fan of Mexican food? How about tacos? If so, what do you like on your tacos? Leave a comment below.
