Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 10 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 10 of the NFL season after an exciting previous weekend of football. The New Orleans Saints finally handed the Los Angeles Rams their first defeat 45-35. In a battle between two future Hall-Of-Famers, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots beat Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 34-17. The Los Angeles Chargers continue to be one of the sleeper teams in the league after beating the Seahawks in Seattle. My record last week was 4-3, which lowered my overall record to 43-28 that dropped my winning percentage from 60.9 to 60.6%. For me to get back where I need to be, these picks need to go as great as my college ones. This week we’ll have more great matchups and I’ll be predicting another six games. Let’s Get Started!

For this Thursday night game, we have a gem that features two of the hottest teams in the league. The Carolina Panthers will visit Heinz Field to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carolina have won three games in a row and they continue to trail the Saints by one game. Cam Newton has been playing great with all the weapons on offense. In the last couple of games, Christian McCaffrey has been as explosive as he’s ever been in the pros. Can the Panthers pull off the road win? Pittsburgh is also in the midst of their own winning streak as they’ve won four in a row. The offense is clicking, and the defense continues to improve every week. There’s rumors that LeVeon Bell could be on his way back? Would it help or hurt the Steelers? Either way, I’m going with the Steelers to prevail over the Panthers.

Pittsburgh Win 38-20

We have a battle between two teams from each conference with winning records. The New Orleans Saints will travel to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. New Orleans is arguably the best team in the NFL, but their receiving core has been depleted. Dez Bryant has worked out for them, but Alvin Kamara is looking like a legitimate MVP candidate. After beating the previously unbeaten Rams, will the Saints have a letdown against the Bengals? Cincinnati ended their two game losing streak last week against Tampa Bay. The Bengals learned this week they’ll be without A.J. Green for at least two games. Can the Bengals pull off the huge upset over the Saints? I’m rolling with the Saints to continue their winning ways.

New Orleans Win 31-24

We have a battle between a pair of teams that made the playoff last season. The New England Patriots will travel to Tennessee to battle the Titans. New England is in the midst of a six game winning streak after beating Green Bay. Despite all the injuries the Patriots have suffered, they still have a top-5 scoring offense. This will be the first time Coach Belichick will face Mike Vrabel, the Tennessee coach who played for Belichick. Tennessee is coming off an impressive performance in Dallas on Monday night ending their 3-game losing streak. It seems like Marcus Mariota is healthy, which could mean trouble for the Patriots. Can the Titans make it two in a row? I’m going with the Patriots anytime they’re home.

New England Win 30-20

This is a matchup between the two top teams in the NFC West. The 4-4 Seattle Seahawks travel to Los Angeles to face the 8-1 Rams. Seattle is coming off a tough loss at home to the Chargers, which ended their two game losing streak. With so many good teams in the NFC, the Seahawks can’t afford to lose many more games. Can Russell Wilson and the Seahawks get back on the winning track against the Rams? Los Angeles became the final team to lose last week when they fell to the Saints. Los Angeles is still looked at as one of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl. They need to continue winning and have the Saints to lose to have that homefield advantage. I’m rolling with the Rams to rebound and beat Seattle.

Los Angeles Win 34-21

We have the Sunday Night game between two bitter rivals from the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys will travel to Philadelphia to battle the Eagles. Dallas is in the midst of the two game losing streak and this is a must-win situation. Anytime these two teams meet, you can expect physical play along with some fights probably. With so much talk about the future of Dak Prescott and Jason Garrett, can the Cowboys steal one in Philly? The Eagles are coming off their bye week and this will be the first game having Golden Tate. If the Eagles are going to make a run, they need this game seeing they have the Saints and Rams on the road. Either way, I’m rolling with the Eagles to prevail in a good game over Dallas.

Philadelphia Win 27-17

The final game of the week as always is the Monday Night Game. This will be a battle of two historic franchises who’s having a bad season. The 1-7 New York Giants will travel to San Francisco to battle the 2-7 49ers. New York has been debating if they want to shut down Eli Manning, but he’ll get the start. Odell Beckham Jr and Saquon Barkley are having great seasons. The offensive line can’t block, Eli Manning can’t move, and the defense isn’t playing like they’re capable. San Francisco ended their six game losing last week against Oakland when Nick Mullens lit up the Raiders. Will Mullens lead the 49ers to consecutive wins after this one is over? I’m taking the Giants to win this one.

New York Win 31-28
