A few days ago, I was watching Unsung and it was about Avant. For those of you who don’t remember, Avant is the guy people thought was a R. Kelly clone. Honestly, I’ve never saw it and the program touched on his rise and fall. Avant- always made great music and the show was my inspiration to feature him on Throwback Thursday. His first album, My Thoughts is a certified classic. The album featured some bangers and one of my all-time favorite tracks is on the album. My First Love featured a young, up-and-coming singer named Keke Wyatt. This is a dope track and one of the better slow jams in the last 20 years.
