Many of you probably think that my love in music is only for hip hop. Truth be told, my parents raised me on Motown and old-school R&B music in general. What’s even better is that my son is actually a huge fan of that genre of music too. One of my playlists on Apple Music that I absolutely love is called Soul Seduction. The Isley Brothers, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, Mary Jane Girls and Earth, Wind & Fire are just a few of the acts that’s featured. My Throwback Thursday track is from the Gap Band and their iconic track, Yearning for Your Love. Yearning for Your Love is one of my favorite songs of all-time. Honestly, if I were to make a list of top 5 or 10 slow jams ever, this is well up there. The Gap Band is one of the more iconic bands ever.
