It’s hard to believe that this year is going by so fast now. During this time of year, my dad is really heave on my mind. With Father’s Day around the corner, so many special moments run through my mind about him. On June 27th, my dad would turn 70-years-old. On one side, I’m sad about Father’s Day, but my kids lift my spirits as they make Father’s Day a big deal. Honestly, I’ve always been the type of father that love things like homemade cards. My two oldest kids are grown and my youngest one will be starting high school next year. Let’s be real, kids that old will not be making those cute little cards anymore. There are quite a few items I’d love for Father’s Day and they’re listed below.
When you get up there in age, comfort is what you’re always looking for. My feet are the worse as they have taken years of abuse thanks to sports. If you’re looking for comfort and nice looking kicks, try out the Harrison Moc by Lamo Footwear. This lined moccasin is made with a cow suede upper, premium Australian sheepskin lining, and a dual formula outsole for maximum comfort. With this nice, warm weather you can match them with some khaki shorts.
New Glasses for Liquor
While relaxing at home on the weekends, you’ll catch me with a bottle of Hennessey. The glasses that I’ve used for years need to be replaced. For Father’s Day, Well Told Design’s delicately etched whiskey glasses will have dad in absolute awe. Each glass features a uniquely etched map in 22 karat gold. When checking them out, it was hard to believe that the glasses would have maps sketched into them. Since I’m in the Atlanta area, my request was for Atlanta. The glasses were all that and some because they were absolutely beautiful. I’m sure dad would love a pair of new glasses to go with his liquor, whiskey or wine.
Something for Outdoors
In Georgia, it’s really hot and we all love to be outdoors. Instead of carrying individual beverages or an entire cooler, get dad a nice BackPack cooler. CleverMade’s new Cardiff BackPack Cooler is perfect for the outdoorsy dad! This stylish insulated leak proof backpack cooler holds 24 cans plus ice, making it perfect for a day at the beach, hiking or picnicking. If I’m going somewhere with the family, we can pack this up with a bunch of drinks. If I’m with friends, we can buy us a case of beer and carry this around.
Everyday I’m spending countless hours on the computer at home and work. Help dad see that you’re his favorite with Pixel Eyewear! With breakthrough lens technology that has an anti-reflective coating and filters 50% of blue light, dad won’t have to worry about computer glare and unnecessary stress on his eyes.
Almost every dad loves a nice watch. The Fortuna brand is a quality watch and they’re beautiful also. I’ve had this watch for about a year now and you’ll see me with it on all the time. For that special dad out there, this watch is also a perfect gift for him.
Power Smokeless Grill
Who doesn’t love to cook? How about grill out? We usually associate the summer and spring with grilling out. Whenever the winter comes around, the grilling isn’t done as much. The Power Smokeless Grill allows you to cook on the grill year round. This would make the best Father’s Day gift for any dad that loves to cook.
Relentless Steel Dog Tag Necklace
Relentless is something we all can identify as being sometimes. When you’re a father, being relentless is something you have to be at all times. Relentless is someone who will not take no for an answer! They try things one way, and if that doesn’t work, they try it another way. But they don’t give up. You, who are about to break beneath the stress of intense struggles, be relentless! Do not quit! For Father’s Day, why not get a necklace that reminds you to stay relentless.
