After much anticipation, Rick Ross finally released his Port of Miami 2 album. Port of Miami 2 is the follow-up to his classic, Rather You Than Me project. For me, Rick Ross is one of the more underrated rappers ever. On the last Mixtape Friday, we put together over 120 tracks for the Very Best of Rick Ross playlist. Port of Miami 2 makes this his unprecedented 10th studio album and 13 years since his Port of Miami debut. After listening a couple of times, Ross came through once again. After putting together such an impressive discography, we now can refer to Rick Ross as a legend. Nipsey Hussle, Lil Wayne, Drake, Jeezy, Meek Mill, Wale, Swizz Beatz, Teyana Taylor and a few other appear on Port of Miami 2. Act a Fool, Big Tyme, Gold Roses and Turnpike Ike were tracks released before the album dropped.
Act a Fool, Turnpike Ike, Nobody’s Favorite, Summer Reign, White Lines, BIG TYME and Rich Nigga Lifestyle. Born to Kill, Fascinated, I Still Pray, Vegas Residency, Maybach Music VI and Gold Roses are my favorite tracks. Overall, the album is pretty good, but I wouldn’t put it above Rather You Than Me. I’ll give it a few more listens before I can determine if it’s one of my top 5 Ross albums. Check out the track list below and it’s followed by the stream links.
