Yukmouth Still Ballin for Throwback Thursday

Yukmouth Still Ballin for Throwback Thursday

Once again, we have arrived at Thursday which means the weekend is getting closer. My playlist this week consisted of some Jay-Z, Eminem, The Game, UGK and a few others. The album that’s highlighted is the 18K: The Golden Years project from Yukmouth. To be honest, it’s more of greatest hits for him and the Luniz if anything. Yukmouth been in the game for over 25 years and he’s the owner of Smoke-A-Lot Records. Luniz entered the game with the classic I Got 5 on It back in 1995. Yukmouth has put out some hits over the years as a solo artist. He’s put out nine solo projects over the years and his Rap-A-Lot Records debut stays in rotation. For my Throwback Thursday track, we’re going back to his Thugged Out: The Albulation debut. The Geto Boys, Tela, Do or Die, MC Ren, The Dogg Pound and many others appeared.

The featured track was like a tribute to 2Pac. Still Ballin was the name of the track and it’s one of his better ones. Still Ballin saw appearances from the Outlawz and Shock G, which was dope. Yukmouth actually released a remix to this track and it featured the Outlawz. Yukmouth has always been dope and one of the more underrated rappers in the game. Check out the video above for Still Ballin and enjoy this dope track. What are your thoughts about the track? How about Yukmouth? What other tracks from him are some of your favorites? Leave some feedback below about Yukmouth, the Luniz, Still Ballin or anything related to them.
