Rick Ross released Teflon Don 10 years ago today. Teflon Don marked his fourth album and to me it marked him transitioning to a great rapper. Rick Ross just teamed with August Alsina to drop the Entanglement track, which adds to the Will and Jada drama. Teflon is the second biggest selling album in his discography as it only trails his debut, Port of Miami album. Less than two months before Teflon Don, Rick Ross dropped the dope Albert Anastasia EP mixtape. The year before, Rick Ross dropped his Deeper Than Rap album which was another great album. During the Deeper Than Rap album, Rick Ross was beefing with 50 Cent and it continues till this day. With Ross dropping the Deeper Than Rap, Albert Anastasia EP and Teflon Don, he established himself as that dude. Super High was the first single from the album and it featured Ne-Yo.
Rick Ross added the remix to Super High onto his Deluxe version of the album. The remix featured Wiz Khalifa and Currensy. Rick Ross released one of the best songs of 2010 and it featured Styles P. B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast) was the track and it was a great track. Aston Martin Music was arguably one of the best tracks off his album as it was a typical smooth Ross hit. Aston Martin Music featured Chrisette Michele and he added Drake for the remix. Teflon Don is my favorite album from Rick Ross and I’ve considered it a certified classic. Jay-Z, Drake, T.I., Jadakiss, Erykah Badu, Diddy, Gucci Mane, Kanye West and CeeLo Green also appear on the album. Check out the track listing below and listen to one of the stream links also.
