Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 13 of the NFL season as we get closer to the finish line. As we all know, Covid is dominating the news in the NFL and around this country also. The NFL is still moving along as we inch nearer the end of the regular season. My record last week was 5-2, which raised my overall mark to 61-33. The winning percentage jumped from 64.4 to 64.9%. With my winning percentage being below the 70% percent mark I still have some work to do. My two losses were when the Titans beat down the Colts to take over the AFC South. The other saw the Washington Football team beating Dallas again to temporarily take over the NFC East. There will be a total of 8 games picked this week. Let’s get started!

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe kick things off with a battle between two NFC South rivals. The New Orleans Saints head here to Atlanta to face the Falcons. The Saints are currently riding an 8-game winning streak. They sit atop of the NFC and they’re inching closer to clinching another division crown. Taysom Hill continues to play well at quarterback in the absence of Drew Brees. The Saints beat the Falcons in their first game, can they repeat that feat? Atlanta has been playing well ever since they fired Dan Quinn. The defense has improved and the offense continues to be efficient. Atlanta still has an outside shot at reaching the playoffs, but they need wins and help. This could end up being another low scoring game between these two. The Saints should barely edge by the Falcons. New Orleans Win 19-17

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe head to the AFC for a matchup between a pair of 8-3 teams. The Cleveland Browns travel to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans. This is a matchup between two of the best running backs in the NFL. Derrick Henry of the Titans and Nick Chubb from Cleveland are very similar in running styles. The Browns are fighting for playoff positioning as they’re 3 games behind the Steelers for the AFC North crown. They are winning with a great running attack and a good defense. Tennessee has been relying on Derrick Henry to wear down defenses. A.J. Brown has become a very dangerous at the receiver position. Can Baker Mayfield make enough plays for the Browns to walk away with the win? I’m thinking Henry will wear down the defense on their way to the win. Tennessee Win 27-21

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe head to the AFC South for this critical matchup. The Indianapolis Colts head to Houston to face the Texans. The Colts are coming off a tough loss to the Titans at home. The loss put the Colts a game behind the Titans with five games to play. Indianapolis is the definition of an up-and-down team because one week they look like one of the best and disappoint you the next. They are still fighting for a division crown but must win and get help. Houston started the season with one of the hardest schedules in the league. After starting 0-5, the Texans are 4-2 in their last six games. Unfortunately, they will be without Will Fuller the rest of the season for a failed drug test. Fuller was the deep threat for Watson, and this will hurt them. Houston’s defense has improved as the season progressed, but how will they fare against the Colts. These two teams will meet again in Indianapolis in two weeks. Who wins this one? I’m going with the Colts to leave with the win. Indianapolis Win 31-21

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe head out west for this critical NFC West matchup. The Los Angeles Rams head to Arizona to face the Cardinals. The Rams are a game behind the Seahawks in the division. Arizona comes into this one a game behind the Rams. Los Angeles have looked like a Super Bowl contender until they fell to the 49ers. The Rams defense is one of the better ones in the league. Can Aaron Donald and the secondary frustrate Kyler Murray? Arizona is currently in the final spot of the playoff chase. They hold a one game lead over the Minnesota Vikings. They were in contention for the division crown, but they have dropped three of four games. Can they beat the Rams to help their playoff chances? I’m picking the Rams to leave with the win. Los Angeles Win 27-21

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe stay out west for this matchup between two division leaders. The New York Giants head to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seattle Seahawks. The Giants will be without Daniel Jones as he’s dealing with a leg injury. The defense of the Giants is becoming one of the better ones in the league. They will need to pressure Russell Wilson if they have any chance of pulling off the upset. With Colt McCoy starting, can the Giants offense move the ball against Seattle? D.K. Metcalf is looking like another Megatron slash Julio Jones. After coming off another record setting game against the Eagles, what do he have in store for New York? The Seahawks defense was one of the worse in the first half of the season. The last three games, Seattle is looking better on defense. I’m picking them to beat the Giants. Seattle Win 30-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe head to Kansas City for this AFC West matchup on Sunday night. The Denver Broncos head to Arrowhead to battle the Chiefs. Last week, the Broncos made headlines because all of their QBs was on the COVID list. Denver signed an emergency quarterback for the game after trying to get a coach to play the position. Drew Lock will play this week, but how will they be against the Chiefs defense? Kansas City comes into this game after their record breaking win in Tampa Bay. Tyreek Hill had a career, record setting game with 13 catches for almost 270 yards. The Chiefs are hoping that the Steelers drop at least a game as they contend for that top spot. Patrick Mahomes will lead the Chiefs to the win. Kansas City Win 34-17

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe have the first of two Monday games. The Washington Football Team travel to Heinz Field to face the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers. With Alex Smith starting at quarterback again, Washington is hoping to win the NFC East. The defensive line is one of the better ones in the league. They will need to pressure Big Ben into mistakes if they have a shot at winning. As far as Pittsburgh is concerned, they have to be tired as they can’t keep barely edging teams out. With the loss of Devin Bush, this could affect their defense a lot. The receiving core of the Steelers should be enough to help the Steelers prevail over Washington. Pittsburgh Win 24-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsWe have the second Monday Night game, and it takes place on the west coast. The Buffalo Bills will travel to Arizona to play the San Francisco 49ers. With the restrictions happening in California, San Francisco will be playing two home games in Arizona. The Bills are trying to fight for the division crown as the Dolphins rest one game behind them. Josh Allen is one of the more promising signal callers in the league. Allen can throw with the best of them and also use his legs also. Can the Bills keep up with the 49ers ever moving offense? The 49ers have dealt with more injuries than damn near any other team in the league. Despite that, they’re 5-6 and one game behind the Cardinals for the final playoff spot. San Francisco is hoping to make a run with the hopes of getting back some weapons. Unfortunately, they’re playing a really good Bills team I’m picking to win. Buffalo Win 34-27

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 13 NFL PredictionsThe final game of the week will take place on Tuesday night. The Dallas Cowboys will travel up to Baltimore to face the Ravens. The Cowboys and Ravens are a mess for separate reasons. Dallas is once again underachieving, but they loss Dak for the entire season. Baltimore continues to put out record setting numbers of Covid positive tests that pushed their game back last week. This was supposed to be the Sunday Night game, but the Ravens just played Wednesday. The Ravens are hoping to have Lamar Jackson back for this game. Baltimore is currently on the outside looking in the playoffs. With a 6-5 record, they are a game behind the final spot and tied with Las Vegas. Fortunately, the Ravens have one of the weaker remaining schedules. I’m thinking the Ravens have enough to beat the Cowboys. Baltimore Win 23-20
