Kool G. Rap Fast Life Featuring Nas for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday, which means we are closer to the weekend. Once again, I’ve been stuck home due to COVID protocols. My playlist this week consisted of only four albums. Quik is the Name from DJ Quik, The Lost Tapes 2 by Nas and the Call Me D-Nice project. The final album was from the legendary Kool G. Rap and his 4,5,6 joint. Kool G. Rap is one of the illest MCs to ever touch the mic. Earlier in his career, Kool G. Rap was a part of the legendary Juice Crew. Kool G. Rap went on to influence the likes of the Notorious Big, Nas, Jay-Z and many others. 4,5,6 was the first album he released by himself as he usually collaborated with DJ Polo. 4,5,6 was the final release from the legendary Cold Chillin’ Records, and it featured Nas and MF Grimm.

The featured Throwback Thursday track features Nas and it’s called Fast Life. Fast Life is a classic track with Nas and G. Rap spitting that real spit. The video is dope and the album is really good also. 4,5,6 isn’t a classic but it’s a really good project to boast Kool G. Rap’s greatness. Check out the video above for the classic Fast Life track.
