Lotus Flower Bomb from Wale Featuring Miguel

Lotus Flower Bomb from Wale Featuring Miguel

Welcome to another Thursday as that means we’re closer to the weekend. As always, I’ll let you know what was on my playlist for the past week. The new Judas and the Messiah soundtrack and Jaheim’s Ghetto Classics kicked things off. Savage Life 2 from Webbie, UGK’s Super Tight and MC Ren’s Ruthless for Life were just a few joints played. The final album I’ll mention is where my featured Throwback Thursday will be coming. The album is Ambition from none other than Wale. Wale is one of the more underrated and underappreciated rappers over the last decade. Wale can spit and he talks a lot of real stuff in his music. It’s hard to believe that it will be 10 years in November since he dropped this joint. Ambition went on to sell over 500,000 copies and was the top rap album when it was released.

The featured Throwback Thursday track was the lead single from the album, Lotus Flower Bomb. Lotus Flower Bomb featured Miguel and it sold over two million singles. Lotus Flower Bomb was also nominated for the Best Rap Song also. This was one of my favorite joints off Ambition, which is a really good album. Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Jeremih, Lloyd, Kid Cudi & Ne-Yo appeared on the album. Don’t Hold Your Applause, Ambition, That Way and Miami Nights along with the featured track are my top 5 tracks. Below is the track listing for Ambition and it’s followed by the stream links.
