Sugar Hill by AZ for Throwback Thursday

Sugar Hill by AZ for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday as that mean we are closer to the weekend. We had a couple of old-school gems this week to start off with. 2 Hype from Kid-N-Play and the King of Rock from the legendary Run DMC. Muddy Waters by Redman, the debut joint from Spice 1 and the Soul Food Soundtrack were played also. The new school was represented with the Detroit mixtape from Big Sean and The GOAT project from Polo G. We going to take you back to 1995 for the featured Throwback Thursday joint. We are going with AZ and his classic debut album Doe or Die that dropped in October of 1995. The platinum selling album is dope as many people remember Mo Money, Mo Murder featuring Nas. For this one, we are going with his single Sugar Hill and it features Miss Jones.

Sugar Hill was one of three singles released by AZ for the Doe or Die joint. Sugar Hill is a dope cut and AZ’s flow is why he’s one of the more underrated rappers ever. As a hip hop head, we all wanted AZ and Nas to create a joint album. Mo Money, Mo Murder, Gimme Yours, Ho Happy Jackie, Rather Unique and Sugar Hill are my top 5 tracks. Check out the video for Sugar Hill up above. As usual, peep the track listing and streams links for Do or Die below.
