7 Possible Destinations Where Odell Beckham Jr. Could Be Playing Next

Odell Beckham Jr. and the Cleveland have come to an agreement to officially part ways. Prior to that, there has been rumored dissension between Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield. The Browns held the receiver out of practice for the week leading to speculation about his release. The trade deadline came and went, and the Browns wasn’t able to trade him. While Odell Beckham Jr. haven’t had a great season, he’s still explosive and could give some team a boost. Where do you see Odell Beckham Jr. signing? Where should he sign? Check out 7 possible destinations where Odell Beckham Jr. could be playing next.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots is slowly putting things together on both sides of the ball. The defense is looking better each week. Mac Jones is in control of the offense as he continues to get more comfortable. The Patriots have some good receivers on their team, but Beckham Jr. could open up the offense. Odell Beckham Jr. will command respect, and this would open up more opportunities for the receiving core. Odell Beckham Jr. is explosive so that means they could do some trick plays and end arounds with him.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints would make a lot of sense seeing he played his college ball at LSU. With the news that Michael Thomas will miss the rest of the season after suffering a setback, this will be a great pickup. Having a coach like Sean Peyton, you know he would find ways to get the ball the ball to Odell Beckham Jr. Having him on the field with Alvin Kamara, this could become one of the more exciting offenses in the league. The only reason Beckham Jr. could opt not to sign with the Saints is the uncertainty at the QB position. New Orleans is going with Trevor Siemien with Jameis Winston being out for the season with a knee injury. Taysom Hill could be returning soon from concussion protocol.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers would also be an ideal destination for Odell Beckham Jr. Devanta Adams is one of the best WRs in the league, but the Packers really don’t have a legit #2 receiver. By adding Beckham Jr., the defense would have to worry about Beckham Jr. and Adams. Whenever you have a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers, you have a chance to win a ring. The Packers could use some great news seeing all what is going on with Aaron Rodgers and his vaccine status.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders is another spot where Odell Beckham Jr. should consider signing. Derek Carr is one of the more underrated QBs in the league. The Raiders have their fair share of weapons, but their best receiver is Hunter Renfroe. Renfroe is a great receiver, but he could use the help and he’s not as explosive as Beckham Jr. With the release of Henry Ruggs III, this would make a lot of sense because he would most likely get opportunities. The Raiders could also be in the running to sign Desean Jackson also who was just released by the Los Angeles Rams.

Baltimore Ravens

Many people are probably surprised at the possibility of the Baltimore Ravens signing Odell Beckham Jr. You add Beckham Jr. to this explosive offense with Lamar Jackson and Hollywood Brown, this could be exciting. For Odell Beckham Jr., he would get the chance to play the Browns also.

Kansas City Chiefs

You may be thinking, why would the Kansas City Chiefs think about signing Odell Beckham Jr.? The offense has struggled mightily for most of the season, and they need a spark. They could use Beckham Jr. like they use Mecole Hardman. You also put him on the field with Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill, this could be what the Chiefs need. With the defense not being that good, Kansas City will need to outscore everyone in shootouts.

San Francisco 49ers

It seems like Jimmy Garoppolo is starting to get healthier, but this offense lacks weapons. Deebo Samuel is basically the only weapon at the WR position that the 49ers can count on. Odell Beckham Jr. would compliment Samuel very well and could spark this offense. Whenever George Kittle return from IR, this offense could become dynamic once again. San Francisco is hoping they don’t fall back too far to make a playoff run by then. This could be a reason why Beckham Jr. could decide not to sing with the 49ers.
