For all my hip hop heads and fellow 2Pac fans, today marks 23 years that 2Pac passed away. Today also marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Ready to Die from Notorious Big. Many of you know that 2Pac is my idol, favorite rapper and artist ever. With this being the anniversary of Pac’s passing, it’s time to bring back Mixtape Friday. Scarface is known as one of the greatest rappers to ever touch the mic. On the controversial Billboard 50 greatest rappers list, Scarface finished 16th. I have never been upset about someone else’s list because its theirs. Scarface is my 3rd favorite rapper of all-time and the greatest MC to come from the south. Scarface first hit the rap scene with the legendary Geto Boys in 1988. The group released seven albums together and Bushwick Bill has passed away.
