Recently I was asked about becoming a member of Smiley360 where I got a chance to rent a game and movie for my family to have a family night via Redbox.

Redbox has over 28,000 locations nationwide where you can rent the latest games for your Wii, PS3 or XBox360. Also you can rent the latest movies that are released either on DVD or Blu-Ray disc. With so many locations there probably a Redbox kiosk located near you whether it’s the grocery store, a Dollar General or a Wal-Mart. So turn a boring or ordinary night to a game night or a movie night with your family.

I’ll be honest I have seen these Redbox Kiosk’s located at alot of different places but I never thought about using it because I thought maybe it was difficult to use or maybe expensive. I was so worried that I waited until one morning leaving Wal-Mart to give it a try seeing that alot of people wasn’t around so if I had problems I wouldn’t feel so bad. So I go to the kiosk then browsed to see what game the kids would love to play then after making my selection I entered my information and slid my card, then out comes the game. It was so simple and easy I was actually shocked and remember saying, that was it. Now before you ask what was the problem I usually just buy movies and haven’t rented movies in years.

Each rental is $1 a day and have to be returned by 9pm the next night or another day charge will be charged to you. Now I’ve told you how easy it was to rent the product, returning it is just as easy. You basically touch return on the screen and slide the game and back into the machine where it says return and you receive an instant email confirming you returned the product.

I recently was invited to review the men’s Hooded down Jacket from Land’s End.   I admit I hardly ever wear jackets.  However, I decided that I would order a size small for my 13 year old son.  He needed a new jacket so this seemed perfect for him.   I ask him to decide what color he wanted. He picked black.  My wife and I were hoping he would pick the gold. Being a big  UGA Fan he refuses to wear hardly anything gold.  He would come home every day asking if his jacket arrived. The windproof nylon shell also features a water-resistant finish to repel rain and snow.  It also includes the adjustable, insulated hood which will be perfect for those cold mornings. My wife was happy to see that it was Machine washable!   The price for this jacket is 129.50. I will be honest, I don’t know if I would spend this much for a jacket without knowing how the quality was.   Now that I have seen it first-hand I know that it’s worth every penny!  This is not your regular one year jacket.  I have even decided to order him a red one but in a bigger size.

So if you’re looking for the perfect jacket I recommend you look at all the styles land’s end carries.  I promise you won’t be sorry.  However, If you’re not satisfied all you have to do is simply return it for an exchange or refund of its purchase price. Guaranteed

Did you know that October is National Popcorn Month?  I never knew that till recently.  With Halloween around the corner, what better time to celebrate a delightful treat.  I was invited to review a 3-Way combo Boo Tin from the popcorn factory and also got a limited edition “Boo Cookie” from Cheryl’s.

When the package arrived the kids tried to take it over of course.  Luckily they let me snap a few pictures before they dived in. 

The 3-way combo tin was packed with all-natural Butter, robust Cheese and secret-recipe Caramel corn.  The taste was amazing.  You could tell that it was actually fresh and not like the other holiday popcorn tins you buy in the store.

The “boo cookie” arrived a little broken but tasted really good.  The cookie is actually a cute little ghost.  This makes a great alternative to Halloween cards.  With each cookie only $ 5 dollars delivered It’s Sweeter than a Card and not only will the kids enjoy it, the adults too.
