Sasha Renee My City from Upcoming EP

Sasha Renee and producer Young Wop release the first single from the up and coming collaborative EP. Young Wop, also known as W.O.P. is producing the entire 8 to 10 track project. According to Sasha, My City is a piece for self motivation. It’s both a reminder to celebrate her current successes and to remember the bigger picture for why she continues to create. Her voice and flow coupled with the sounds from producer Young Wop make for a light-hearted kind of hip-hop.The single is also available to buy or stream on Tidal, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and all major digital distributors. B.G. Big Tymers Get Your Shine on for Throwback Thursday

When it came to Cash Money Records and the Hot Boys, B.G. was by far my favorite of the group. Unfortunately, B.G. is currently locked up in prison doing a 14-year bid on gun chares and witness tampering. He released his first album in 1995 along with Lil Wayne called True Story. In 1996, he dropped his first solo project called Chopper City a couple of months after turning 16. Less than a year later, he released It’s All On U which was a dope project. If that wasn’t enough, he released It’s All On U, Volume 2 on November 11, 1997. It’s hard to believe that on Saturday it’ll…

Wu Tang Clan Never Say Featuring Redman for Music Monday

This past Friday, the legendary Wu Tang Clan released their new album, The Saga Continues. The first single from the album is called Never Say and it features another legendary artist in Redman, who frequently collaborates with Method Man. This is their 7th studio album together and it comes almost 24 years after they dropped their classic first album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).  This is a dope track and I had to make it my Music Monday as it features Method Man, Raekwon and Inspecktah Deck. I’m in the process of listening to the album and so far I’m liking what I’m hearing. Check out this featured track below…

Master P Mystikal Silkk the Shocker Let’s Get Em

On Sept 2, 1997 Master P released his classic Ghetto Dope album. After the successful releases of his Ice Cream Man album and I’m Bout It Soundtrack, Master P was on top of the hip hop world. For the Ghetto Dope album, P had the entire No Limit label on the album. Everyone from Silkk the Shocker, C-Murder, Mystikal, Mia X, Fiend, Mac and the rest of the tank appeared on the album. For my Throwback Thursday, I’m featuring the 2nd track on the album. The track is called Let’s Get ‘Em and it featured Silkk the Shocker & Mystikal. They all did their thing over the classic Beats by…
