2Pac Loyal to the Game Released 15 Years Ago Today

I’ve stated many times over the years that 2Pac is my all-time favorite artists not just rapper. 15 years ago, 2Pac released his ninth album and the fifth that was dropped posthumously. For this project, Eminem wrote a letter to Afeni to let her know how influential Pac was to him. In the letter, Eminem stated that he’d be honored to produce the entire album and she obliged. The first single from the project featured Nate Dogg and it was called Thugs Get Lonely Too. The original track was recorded during the Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z and Thug Life era. The single dropped a few days after the 8th anniversary…

2Pac Thugz Mansion for Throwback Thursday

On September 13th, 1996 we lost in my opinion the greatest rapper of all-time. 2Pac was gunned down in Las Vegas on September 7th after the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon fight. As we all know, 2Pac would pass away six days later. With tomorrow being the 23rd anniversary of his passing, you know 2Pac is being featured as my Throwback Thursday. During the week, one of the albums that I was bumping was a personal compilation from many years ago. One of the tracks on the project is Thugz Mansion from 2Pac and it’s the one that features Anthony Hamilton. Thugz Mansion was featured on his Better Dayz album. Thugz Mansion…

    Daddy’s Hangout Presents 2Pac B-Day Mix Vol. 8

First off, Happy Birthday to the late, great Tupac Shakur. 2Pac would’ve been 48-years-old today and could you imagine Pac being 48? If you know me personally or online, you know that 2Pac is forever my personal Greatest Of All Time. It’s crazy that he’s been gone almost 23 years and he’s just as influential in a lot of today’s artists. As far as my 2Pac B-Day Mixes, this is Volume 8 and most likely the final one. For all my fellow Pac fans, you can peep the previous seven. For his 48th birthday, I’ll be putting together another 21 joints from 2Pac. These tracks are from his albums, features…

Joyner Lucas Pays Respect to 2Pac and Nipsey

Joyner Lucas is one of the better rappers when it comes to concepts. The new video and track for Devil’s Work is no different. Lucas heads to church to plead with a higher power as to why he’s taken so many legends from our society, Joyner Lucas walks around a church while holding the Bible and drinking a bottle of Hennessey. Joyner Lucas pays respect to 2Pac, Nipsey, Michael Jackson, Biggie Smalls and more legends in the video. Lucas questions why God can’t bring back 2Pac and Nipsey Hussle. On the flip side, Lucas questions why some people need to go straight to hell. Donald Trump, R. Kelly, Martin Shkreli,…
