We all know that the winner of this game would face LSU for the national championship. In the Peach Bowl, LSU went on to pummel the Sooners 63-28. We finished the regular season with some pretty entertaining conference championship games. The first three spots in the college football playoffs were set, but the fourth was up for grabs. With LSU dominating Georgia and Utah getting blown out by Oregon it was wide-open. We all thought the Oklahoma and Baylor winner would have the inside track to that spot.
