    One of my all-time favorite groups and Atlanta’s own, Outkast dropped their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik twenty-two years ago today. Before the album dropped, I remember having the gold & purple CD that was their debut single, Player’s Ball when they were passing them out. When people talk about Outkast, I don’t think many realize how impactful their sound was when they dropped because Atlanta was known for the club or booty-shaking music with the likes of Kilo, Raheem the Dream, DJ Kizzy Rock and many others.
