Welcome to Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season. We have only one undefeated team left in the NFL and that is the Arizona Cardinals. The Las Vegas Raiders fell to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night. The Denver Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens as Teddy Bridgewater went down with a concussion. Carolina was another undefeated that went down as they fell to the Dallas Cowboys. Colts Edge Chiefs on Road in Defensive Battle Sunday Night
If you tuned in Sunday night to watch Patrick Mahomes put on a show, you were disappointed. The Chiefs QB injured his ankle in the first half and was hobbled the entire game. While Mahomes was injured for most of the game, that doesn’t take away from the performance by the Colts. The defense put pressure on Mahomes all night and limited the big plays. We have the AFC East and North out of the way for 2019. Let’s turn our attention to the competitive AFC South and see who will walk out as the division winner in 2019. In a tough three team race, Houston managed to walk away with the division title over the Colts and Titans. The Texans beat out the Colts by one game and the Titans finished two games behind. Welcome to Week 15 of the NFL season and it is now crunch time for several teams that’s still in the playoff hunt. Last week my record was 4-2 even though it should’ve been better, but I’ll take it. My overall record jumps to 24-18, which brought my winning percentage up from 51.4% to 57.1%.
