Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers, with more than 180 restaurants in 21 states, launched A Pie for A Pie community giving program in April 2020 to recognize organizations and essential workers in local communities. Each week since the giving program began, specific Mellow Mushroom owners host a pie sale where for every stone-baked pie sold, the owner donates a small pizza pie to a community organization or frontline worker.
