    Daddy’s Hangout Week 9 2021 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season as we are officially at the halfway mark of the year. Last week was probably my worse one I’ve ever had seen my Week 8 record was 2-5. My overall record dipped to 40-27 and my winning percentage dropped from 63.3 down to 59.7%. My winning percentage dropped below 60%, so that means I have a lot of making up to do. The Arizona Cardinals are no longer undefeated as the Packers defeated the Cardinals on Thursday night. The Cincinnati Bengals fell to the New York Jets behind rookie back-up Mike White. The Tennessee Titans took command of the AFC South…

    Daddy’s Hangout 2021 Week 6 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season. As of now, we still have the Arizona Cardinals as the only undefeated team in the league. The big news coming out of the NFL was the leaked Jon Gruden emails, which lead to his resignation. After a 3-0 start, Las Vegas dropped their last two games and are now without a coach. My record from last week was 5-2, which should have been 6-1. Still don’t know why I had the Chiefs beating the Bills when I was telling everyone the opposite. My overall mark jumped to 30-17 in which my winning percentage went from 62.5 to 63.8%. The other…

    Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 16 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 16 of the NFL season as we are almost done with this tumultuous outing. The big news coming out of last week was the Jets beating the Rams for their first win. On Monday Night, the Bengals upset the Pittsburgh Steelers which was one of my losses. My record last week was 4-4, which dropped my mark to 76-43. The winning percentage dipped from 64.9 to 63.9%. The Chargers won their second consecutive game by beating the Las Vegas Raiders. The Chicago Bears beat Minnesota to stay alive in the NFC playoff hunt. The fourth loss came when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints.…

Derrick Henry Signs 4 Year Deal to Remain in Tennessee

Derrick Henry signs 4-year deal to remain in Tennessee for the foreseeable future. The Tennessee Titans and star running back Derrick Henry have reached agreement on a four-year, $50 million contract that includes $25.5 million guaranteed. Derrick Henry lead the league in rushing last year and almost guided the Titans to the Super Bowl. They fell to the eventual champion, Kansas City in the AFC Championship game. The Titans have announced the deal is official but didn’t include the terms. In one offseason, the Titans have now reached new deals with Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Henry’s contract, which averages $12.5 million per year, makes him the NFL’s fifth-highest-paid running…

Chiefs Advance to Super Bowl with Win Over Titans

The Kansas City Chiefs advance to Super Bowl with win over the Tennessee Titans. Patrick Mahomes finished with 4 total TDs and almost 300 yards passing. Mahomes also lead the Chiefs in rushing with 53 yards and that included a 27 yard TD run before halftime. The Chiefs has their sites on stopping Derrick Henry, whom ran all over New England and Baltimore. Henry was held to 69 yards on 19 carries. Kansas City’s plan from the beginning was to make Ryan Tannehill beat them. Tannehill finished with 209 yards through the air on 21 of 31 passing. Tannehill tossed a touchdown pass and no interception as he didn’t…

Daddy’s Hangout NFL 2020 Conference Championship Predictions

Who had the Kansas City taking on the Tennessee Titans for a chance at the Super Bowl?  Did you also have the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Green Bay Packers to represent the NFC? The 49ers-Packers matchup was more believable than the AFC title game. My record for the Wild Card round was 1-3, but the Divisional games were the complete opposite. Last week my record was 3-1 and the only defeat was that Titans team beating Baltimore. In the AFC, Tennessee rode Derrick Henry to an improbable win over the top seed. Tennessee frustrated Lamar Jackson into 2 INTs and a fumble as the leading MVP candidate couldn’t get…

Who Walks Away with the AFC South in 2019?

We have the AFC East and North out of the way for 2019. Let’s turn our attention to the competitive AFC South and see who will walk out as the division winner in 2019. In a tough three team race, Houston managed to walk away with the division title over the Colts and Titans. The Texans beat out the Colts by one game and the Titans finished two games behind. Jacksonville finished last, but the previous season they almost reached the Super Bowl. In 2019, if all the teams remain healthy, this could be one of the tightest divisions in football. Who will win the AFC South division in 2019?…

    Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 4 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 4 of the NFL season as this will be the finish of the first quarter of the season. Last week was a good one for me as I finished with a 7-3 record. My overall record jumps to 15-12 and in the process my winning percentage goes over 50. The winning percentage goes from 47.1 to 55.6%. It was good to see the Cleveland Browns finally pick up a victory last Thursday night. The Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions pulled off huge blowout upsets over the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots. The game of the week had to go to the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans…

    NFL Predictions Week 11

Welcome to Week 11 of the NFL season and things are heating up with teams with teams are either vying for a playoff position, fighting for a better seed or just trying to finish the season on a positive note. After a dismal showing last week, I could use anything positive now because my record was 1-4, dropping my overall record to 31-27. My winning percentage drops from 56.6% to 53.5%. This week I’ll be predicting four games with hopes of not having a losing record. Let’s Get Started!!!   This is the Thursday night game between a couple of teams that’s in the running for the #1 pick in…
