Okay the year was 1988 and it was called the first Golden Age of Hip Hop, with albums released by Public Enemy, NWA, Slick Rick, Eric B & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, BDP and many more. So to commemorate that era I made a 3 Disc mixtape, called 1988: Hip Hop’s First Golden Era out of respect for putting out so much great music. I turned 11 later that year but I still remember listening to those albums and was in awe.
