Kris Kross Tonight's the Night for Throwback Thursday

My Throwback Thursday is from Kris Kross, recently one of the members was found dead, Chris Kelly. I grew up listening to them and definitely sending my condolences to him, his family and everyone affected. This track is from their last album Young, Rich and Dangerous, which they released in 1996. The track is called Tonight’s The Night. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!! One again, rest in Peace to Chris Kelly aka Mac Daddy. Kris Kross burst on the scene in 1992 with the Totally Krossed Out album. Totally Krossed Out sold over four million albums in the United States alone. Jump was the big single off the album and it sold over two million singles by itself. The following year, Kris Kross released their second album called Da Bomb. Da Bomb was eventually go platinum and they had a couple hits off the album.

Kris Kross took three years off before releasing their final album called Young, Rich and Dangerous. They had a more mature sound and I thought the album sounded great. Young, Rich and Dangerous went gold and it was spawned by two hits. The first is the featured track, Tonite’s tha Night and Live in Die for Hip Hop featuring Da Brat. The album was nice and you can check it out below. Check out the track listing and stream links below. While you’re at it, peep my personal greatest hits by Kris Kross.
