Try out these snacks and tips.



Homemade Trail Mix

Mixed nuts are an easy way to get in some protein. Mix in nuts like almond, pistachios, and cashews with dried fruit, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and some coconut shavings for a great, sweet treat that packs a protein punch to rev up your metabolism in no time.

Hard-Boiled Egg

This snack is inexpensive and loaded with nutrients, as well as protein. Eggs are known to be one of the best ways to get in a serving of protein, and one egg is one serving, so it’s easy to measure out. Hard boil five eggs and store them in the refrigerator. Place one a day in a container each day for an easy on-the-go snack.

Cheese and Peanut Butter Crackers

One ounce of cheese is a serving of protein. One tablespoon of peanut butter is another.
