2015 NCAA Final Four Predictions

Finally, it’s time for the Final Four and this should be a couple of great games as we have the Kentucky Wildcats facing the Wisconsin Badgers, whom they beat by 1-point in last year’s Final Four to advance to the championship game. In the other game, we have a battle between 2 of the beat coaches in the game as Coach K lead the Duke Blue Devils against Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans in the other Final Four game. In the my Sweet 16 predictions article I had Arizona beating Wisconsin to advance but I correctly predicted the other 3 teams to win though. Let’s see how things will play out and who will meet for the championship on Monday night, which I’ll predict that separately.

Duke Blue Devils logoMichigan State logoIn this first semi-final game we have the Duke Blue Devils, who’s the top seed coming out of the South Region facing the Michigan State Spartans, who’s the #7 seed out of the East Region. The Blue Devils have looked great throughout the tournament and they actually beat Michigan State earlier in the year when the Spartans were ranked #19 as the Blue Devils were led by Okafor and Quinn Cook. The Spartans were led by Branden Dawson and Travis Trice but these teams are much different from their previous match-up. The Spartans are a tough, gritty team that seems like no team can put them away and now they have a chance against the Blue Devils again. Duke is a team on a mission and it seems like they’re destined to make the championship game. I’m going with the Blue Devils to pull this off and eventually pull away towards the end of the game.

Duke Win 79-67

Kentucky LogoWisconsin logoThis is the second game from Indianapolis as the top ranked Kentucky Wildcats out of the Midwest Region face the Wisconsin Badgers, who’s the top ranked team from the West Region. This game could be an instant classic and we’ll get to see how the Wildcats respond after being pushed to their limits in the Elite 8 against Notre Dame. Kentucky is chasing history because with 2 more wins they would finish the season with a 40-0 record and will be put in the history books as one of the best teams ever and also are the first team to go undefeated and win the championship since the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers. How ironic they’re playing the Final Four in Indianapolis? The Badgers have been on a mission since last year and they’ve wanted to face Kentucky to avenge their Final Four loss from last year. This is a tough one to choose, but I think the Wildcats are too much for them to handle and will win this game to advance to the championship game.

Kentucky Win 82-77
