Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from Albany, NY this week with less than a week away from the Extreme Rules PPV. Last week was an improvement from the week before, hopefully things pick up with the PPV this Sunday. Let’s Get Started!!!

Good

Opening Segment: Randy Orton came out to start Raw and cut a pretty damn good promo. Orton has been on fire ever since he returned from injury, afterwards Rollins came out then he & Orton talked back and forth until Orton said he’ll RKO everyone backstage.

Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose: I’ve actually enjoyed their feud and I’m thinking they’re going to have a match @ the Extreme Rules PPV.

New Day vs. Lucha Dragons: Really good tag match and it seems like the New Day are starting to adapt to some heelish tendencies in their win over the Lucha Dragons. Still a fan of the Dragons and it’s too soon for them to get a shot at the tag titles.

Triple H Announcement/Kane/Seth Rollins: Triple H announced the return of Tough Enough and how people can become a part of it. After the announcement Kane came down to the ring and talked about how much of a brat Seth Rollins has become. Rollins came out and got into it with Kane, in which Triple H made Kane the Gate Keeper during the cage match @ the PPV. Great segment!!!

Roman Reigns: Reigns was cutting a promo but was interrupted by Bo Dallas, but he was met with a Superman Punch & Spear. I’m still a fan of Reigns & I like Dallas also.

John Cena vs. Kane: This was a really good match and I believe they’re planning something huge with Kane it seems. Loved seeing Rusev attack Cena with the chain in the back when giving an interview and putting him in the Accolade with the chain.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins: This was a really good match between these 2 and with Sheamus interfering I understand because he’s feuding with Ziggler and if there’s a Rollins/Ziggler feud in the future this doesn’t hurt. Very intrigued with what’s going on with the Authority seeing that Kane, Triple H & Rollins having differences. How about that RKO from Orton to Rollins at the end of the night?

Bad

Fandango vs. Curtis Axel: Just think they waited too late to turn him face and capitalizes off his popularity.

Naomi vs. Brie Bella: Who’s the face? Who’s the heel?

Shaemus vs. Zach Ryder: Ryder deserve so much better, but this does make Sheamus look more like a bad-ass bully though.

Miz vs. Damien Sandow: This feud has cooled off tremendously; maybe with Summer Rae turning on Sandow it will help this feud.

Ryback vs. Adam Rose: Maybe they’re trying to build Ryback up again.

Ugly

Daniel Bryan’s Health: There’s a chance that Bryan won’t be able to defend the IC title @ Extreme Rules because his health is in question now. Very sad situation!!!

Overall Rating: 6/10- For this being the go-home show before the Extreme Rules PPV, Raw could’ve been better. I must say that Randy Orton had a pretty good night and I’m looking forward to his match with Seth Rollins at the PPV. The Kane dynamic intrigues me and they can go so many different directions with this storyline between him and Seth Rollins. I think the Ambrose/Harper has a good chance to steal the show and I have to say that I hate seeing Roman Reigns feuding with the Big Show because he doesn’t help Reigns out at all. There were 3 pretty good matches with Cena/Kane, New Day/Luchas and Ziggler/Rollins. Kane really picked things up on Raw, I like the decision not to rush the Lucha Dragons facing the champs now and I really would love to see Ziggler face Rollins with the title on the line in the future. Sad news to hear that the health of Daniel Bryan is getting worse, I’m hoping this isn’t serious and he can get back to doing what he does best and that’s wrestle. What do you think about the return of Tough Enough where they will feature 10 guys and 5 women on the show?

Top 5 Happenings from Raw:
1) Randy Orton
2) Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins
3) John Cena vs. Kane
4) New Day vs. Lucha Dragons
5) Health of Daniel Bryan
