Monday Night Raw 6/1/2015

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from San Antonio, TX the night after a pretty good Elimination Chamber PPV. We have so much to sort out after the PPV and being less than two weeks away from the Money in the Bank PPV, one of my favorites. Let’s see how things turned out!!!

Opening Segment: The Authority started out the show and they were angry because Ambrose stole the championship. Triple H called out Ambrose but it was answered by Roman Reigns. Reigns got in the ring and said that Ambrose wanted a rematch for the title and want it to be a ladder match. After Reigns called out Rollins he agreed and said he doesn’t need anyone and then stormed off. Afterwards, Stephanie got in the face of Reigns, but Triple H pulled her away then got in the face of Reigns and said if he loses tonight, he’s not participating in the Money in the Bank match.

Roman Reigns vs. King Barrett: This was a pretty good match between these two and Reigns has come a long way. Reigns hit the spear in the end for the win after a lengthy match.

Kevin Owens/John Cena: They have rematch in a couple of weeks at the Money in the Bank PPV, but they both cut great promos against each other. I really love this feud right here and how Cena has been doing his thing too.

Dolph Ziggler & Primetime Players vs. New Day: The match was initially Kofi vs. Dolph, but he was attacked after beating Kingston by Big E & Xavier Woods then Young and Titus O’Neil made the save. The 6 man match was pretty good and once again, how strong is Titus O’Neil? In the end, the team of Ziggler & Primetime Players won the match.

Nikki Bella vs. Paige: This was a good match until the Twin Magic thing when they don’t even favor anymore. I mean I’m a guy an know that Nikki is much thicker than Brie, but the referee couldn’t tell and I thought the Bellas was faces now.

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus: This was a pretty good match and honestly I hope neither of these guys wins the MITB briefcase. Back to the match, it was pretty good and Sheamus looked strong when he got DQ’d and beat the hell out of Orton.

Ryback vs. The Miz: The match never happens because Big Show returned and knocked out the Miz. Afterwards, he got in the face of Ryback and challenged him for the IC title.

Roman Reigns vs. Mark Henry: Does anyone take Mark Henry serious anymore?

Neville vs. Bo Dallas: Does anyone take Bo Dallas serious?

Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt: If Wyatt was built properly this should be a huge main event. Honestly, if booked right this should be a future world title match between these 2 guys. Big fan of Reigns and Wyatt, just don’t understand the booking of Wyatt. Loved how Ambrose showed up when the Authority surrounded Reigns, the crowd went nuts for him and helped Reigns clear the ring.

Overall Rating: 6/10- This was a pretty good edition of Monday Night Raw and things started out pretty good with the Authority and Reigns. Roman Reigns had a big night in defeating Barrett, Mark Henry and Bray Wyatt to keep his spot in the Money in the Bank match. The feud between John Cena & Kevin Owens is probably the best thing going on Raw and I’m looking forward to their rematch at the Money in the Bank PPV.
