Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from New Orleans less than a week away from the Money in the Bank PPV. Last week was a pretty good Monday Night Raw and hopefully the go-home show is good also. Let’s Get Started!!!
Good
Opening Segment: Wow!!! Monday Night Raw didn’t start off with the Authority for a change. John Cena opened up Monday Night Raw talking about Kevin Owens, their match from Elimination Chamber and their upcoming match at the Money In the Bank PPV. Cena cut a pretty good promo talking about he’s still the face of WWE and that brought out Owens. Owens said the people are tired of Cena and that he’ll do the NXT Championship open & Cena said he’ll accept the challenge. Owens said whoever walks out they should choose who they would like to face. Neville answered the challenge and said he wants to fight Cena again one day, but he’s going to take the NXT title from Kevin Owens.
Kevin Owens vs. Neville: This was a really good match and seeing these two guys have me believing the future is really bright in the WWE. I’d love to see them feud in the future and hopefully for a championship. How strong is Neville? Owens hit the pop-up powerbomb for the victory in a really good match.
Miz/Ryback/Big Show Segment: I really don’t like Ryback defending the IC title against Big Show, but that Shell Shock was awesome.
Luke Harper & Erick Wyatt vs. Los Matadores: Dominant win by the Wyatts and them using the 3D the move formally used by the Dudley Boyz was nice. How good a feud between them and the Dudleyz Boyz?
Kofi Kingston vs. Roman Reigns: This was a pretty competitive match and how cool would it be if Kofi won the MITB match?
J&J Security vs. Seth Rollins: This match was pretty good and it opens so many possibilities what can happen between Rollins and the Authority. After the match, Ambrose ran in to hit the Dirty Deeds on Rollins to close the show.
Bad
Roman Reigns, Kane, New Day, Dolph Ziggler & Sheamus Segment: This went on too long!!
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus: Are these guys feuding again? I’ve grown tired of seeing these guys go against each other even though they both can go.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane: I’ve grown sick of Kane!!!
Titus O’Neil vs. Big E: I like Titus, but I’m not feeling him as a singles competitor.
Ugly
Summer Rae vs. Nikki Bella: No comment!!
Overall Rating: 5/10- This wasn’t the best go-home show with the Money in the Bank PPV being Sunday. The best match by far was the match between Kevin Owens and Neville, which was really good. There really wasn’t any standout matches besides the opening match, but I’m still looking forward to the PPV because the MITB match, the championship ladder match and the Owens/Cena match.
