After coming off vacation where we ate a lot, then coming home and having cookouts with the family and having a neighborhood cookout for the Fourth of July, we had to slow down. This week we’re going to eat light, that means no big meals nor take out, so we headed to Walmart to find some food that we can put together or throw in the microwave. The day after the 4th of July, Walmart was pretty packed and people were still buying fireworks, so we picked up some also. We headed to the freezer section where we noticed the new STOUFFERS® Fit Kitchen meals.
We decided to try a couple of different kinds to see how they tasted, and I loved they were high in protein, plus they looked delicious!! You can stay satisfied longer with NEW! STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen meals available in six varieties with each mouth-watering recipe is packed with 25 grams of protein or more that leaves you satisfied:
• Steak Fajita
• Cilantro Lime Chicken
• Rotisserie Seasoned Turkey
• Bourbon Steak
• Oven Roasted Chicken
• Monterey Chicken
These protein packed meals only take about 10 minutes to prepare and they’re a balanced meal, but you can add whatever sides to go with it. The first one I tried was the Steak Fajita, which consists of tender prime rib steak in smoked red chile sauce, with a mix of red and green peppers and seasoned brown rice. As you see below, this look really and believe me when I say that’s it tastes as good as it looks. This made a great lunch for me to eat and it contained 26 grams of protein!!
Later that evening, I decided to try the other meal I picked up, which was the Cilantro Lime Chicken meal. This meal had white-meat chicken, with black bean and corn mix and seasoned brown rice with a Verde tomatillo sauce. This STOUFFER’S® Fit Kitchen meal contains 27 grams of protein and once again; this meal was great!!
After eating my meal, I spent more time with my kids and we let off some more fireworks before I had to go to work for the night. If you’re active on social media make sure you follow STOUFFER’S® on Twitter, Pinterest and like them on Facebook.

My family was out of town for July 4th, too, and we had to plan out our meals better this week. Glad Fit Kitchen was a good option for you! #client
