Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from Brooklyn, once again. This is one night after a pretty good Summerslam PPV and let’s sees how things will play out the night after Summerslam.
Good
Opening Segment: Before Monday Night Raw went on the air, Triple H started the show from WWE Headquarters with Seth Rollins. Triple H said the Rollins is no longer the future, but he’s the man and he will unveil the statue tonight on Monday Night Raw. The show started with Heyman & Lesnar with Heyman cutting a great promo and then called out Undertaker for a rematch, but was interrupted by Bo Dallas. Brock Lesnar proceeded to take him to Suplex City and left the ring, but Heyman told Lesnar he only hit 4 Suplexes, what about 5? He went back and hit another one and let, but Heyman stopped him again and told him to hit the F5 and he did with the crowd going crazy.
New Day vs. Lucha Dragons: Not too much for match, but for the New Day gimmick and it’s amazing. After they defeated the Lucha Dragons, we saw the return of the DUDLEY BOYZ!!! What a return and the crowd were really into their return and it was AWESOME!!!!
Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper & Bray Wyatt: What another good match between these 4. These guys basically beat the hell out of each other like they did at the Summerslam PPV. Reigns was about to hit the Superman Punch on Wyatt, then the Wyatt theme music hit and another Wyatt Family member was on the apron and he was freakin HUGE!!!! He proceeded to beat the hell out of Reigns & Ambrose, leaving them lying motionless.
Stardust Attacks Wade Barrett: It was supposed to be a tag match, but Stardust attacked Barrett and that brought out Neville, who attacked Stardust and was about to hit the Red Arrow, but he ran away.
Jon Stewart/Ric Flair/John Cena Segment: Jon Stewart done a great job on letting everyone know why he attacked Cena where he said he didn’t want Cena to tie the record of Ric Flair with 16 world titles. That brought out Flair and eventually John Cena came out to confront Stewart. Eventually, Cena hit the AA on Jon Stewart to end the segment!!
Ryback, Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler & Randy Orton vs. Big Show, Kevin Owens, Rusev & Sheamus: The match started out pretty slow, but it picked up when Cesaro got the hot tag. Big Show accidentally knocked out Sheamus that lead to him receiving an RKO from Orton for the win. After the match, Rusev & Owens confronted Show, but he pushed them away then they attacked Show. All the faces came back in the ring then Ziggler hit a superkick on Show, then Cesaro & Ryback picked Show up for a huge RKO.
Seth Rollins w/Sting Segment: Before the Authority brought out Rollins, they had the crowd sang Happy Birthday to Vince McMahon. After Rollins came out, he cut a pretty good promo about beating Cena, being immortalized and now being one of the greats. The Authority unveiled the statue and there was STING!!!!!! He attacked Rollins, and then he grabbed the World title, held it above his head and pointed towards the Authority.
Bad
MizTV w/PCB: That segment didn’t do anything for me.
Team PCB vs. Team Bella: The match seemed very sluggish and the crowd really wanted Sasha Banks. We know Charlotte is being looked at as the top diva for the future, but it seems like the WWE Universe want Banks.
Overall Rating: 9/10- This was one of the best editions of Monday Night Raw I’ve seen in a long time. Monday Night Raw wasn’t heavy on wrestling, but with the returns of the Dudley Boyz, Sting and Ric Flair made it AWESOME!!! We also saw a new addition to the Wyatt Family and that guy was freakin HUGE!!!! My only 2 gripes were very minor and unfortunately, it had to do with the Divas.
Top 5 Moments of Monday Night Raw:
1) Return of the Dudley Boyz
2) Return of Sting
3) New Addition to the Wyatt Family
4) The Brooklyn Crowd all weekend
5) Seeing Ric Flair is always good
