After watching their amazing story on Unsung, I knew that I had to feature one of the most underrated groups to come out of the 80s and that’s the Force MDs. This group kept churning out hit after hit, until the music business started to get the best of them and the tragic loss of their lead singer. To be honest, I didn’t know too much about their backstory or anything like that, but I knew that the track I’m featuring for Throwback Thursday is one of my all-time favorite songs and that’s Tender Love. This track is featured on their second album, Chillin which is a really good album. The Force MDs mixed a classic R&B sound with hip hop, but on Tender Love it’s straight vocals and they killed this track.
